  1. There’s a nice laid back drum beat on this one lowbelow 🙂
  2. A new bass always works for me, then I end up picking up my other basses, and I remember why I bought them in the first place 🙂
  3. Not sure if it’s what you’re looking for but ESG have some pretty funky grooves
  4. I thought the video of the Ashdown bass was great, and nice playing
  5. Thanks very much miles’tone, I’ll message them aswell 👍
  6. Does anyone know where I can get a gold fender decal for a black headstock like this, I’ve tried 3 so far they look right on the paper but they go clear when they are on the black background, thanks
  7. @therealting Are we talking about the router shaft size or the cutter size, I was referring to the cutter shank size which is 1/4 or 1/2 , the cutters come in many sizes, like this
  8. I’ve only ever known 1/4 and 1/2 in shanks, if there is a different one I wouldn’t buy it because all brand cutters are that size 🙂
  9. A Friday Barrington levy tune , such a great Bassline right in the pocket And a classic from 1983 covered here nicely by Rooti
  10. But, are 'friends' electric? Mine's broke down..........plug her in then😁
  11. I used to make and fit staircases so I was routing and trenching for years, I’ve got many routers , but I have to say the new Makita cordless is very impressive, if you don’t already have the batteries and charger it would probably work out expensive , if you do I would recommend it 🙂
  12. Shank sizes are 1/4 and the bigger routers are 1/2 🙂
  13. 😂 sorry about that, ill measure when I get back to the shop 👍
  14. A handy addition to the workbench is a bench stop , I use mine all the time especially if it’s to plane something that’s awkward to clamp, it adjusts up and is flat when not in use, could be another project si 😁
  15. Over the years I’ve probably tried most flats at one time or another and the fender flats were not for me, they were too stiff and seemed to lack warmth, if you like a stiffer string with brighter mids, they would be good.
  16. I’ve got those andy on another 2 jazzes, they are nice, they take a while to play in then the sound and feel just gets better and better
  17. That’s so cool chaypup, will they reschedule it
  18. I too am a labella LTF user, for many years I used deep talkin flats and then about a year ago I tried the LTF’s and liked the sound , tension and feel , I’ve now got 4 jazzes and 1 P bass with them .
  19. I’ve been a massive David Rodigan fan from a very early age, and he’s had some great shows over the years, if anyone is interested, if you get the BBC sounds app you can catch up on some of his shows
  20. That’s interesting, I don’t remember a tv program called reggae sunsplash, and I’ve been playing reggae since 1977, I but I’ve been to the reggae sunsplash festival 🙂
