  1. I remember when I was looking at Yamaha attitude basses , this video came up, I don’t know much about him , but he’s well fast with 3 and 4 fingers
  2. Ive tried this a few times after seeing a friend play with all 4 fingers, and I found it really difficult, I used this video for a few exercises, apologies if you’re more advanced than this 🙂
  3. Thanks for that Tabby Shaw track Lee , that’s superb and an hour of feelgood reggae sounds great to me, I’m looking forward to listening to that 👍
  4. Type @ , and then the members name 🙂 And a drop down list should come up
  5. Another version of Take five by the young lions , I like this one
  6. Because I’ve watched a few pink Floyd videos this popped up, and wow what a player
  7. I really like that , I remember the song, I might have to give that a go , I like playing different things now and again.
  8. That’s well nice Raslee ☝️, how does it sound
  9. I never clean my ones after playing, but I’ve got a thing about always cleaning my hands before I pick one up, sometimes I’ll pick a few basses from their hangers on a Saturday morning and give them a wipe over with fender custom shop spray but that’s about it.
  10. I only use flats and It’s not you, as Silvia says, they are stiff, I’ve got the fender flats on one of my jazzes and I’ve left them on hoping they would flex a bit with use, but they haven’t , I wouldn’t use them again.
  11. He’s got some good videos of just him drumming, I use them sometimes for practice 🙂
  12. A nice medley here with reggae drummer Karigan and some sweet Basslines .
  13. 6x1 par will come up 145x20 finished size, which is plenty, I would go 5x1 which is 125mm 🙂
  14. I’ve got a Lindo semi acoustic, which does have a nice sound both acoustically and when plugged in , but it’s pretty quiet, despite having a fairly big body
  15. Good advice there, I’ve only ever used flats from the early 80s and some brands can feel a bit tacky, I’ve found labella’s are ok , but I tried fender flats and they were almost sticky but a quick wipe with alcohol wipes and they were fine.
  16. Sounds great, That’s my favourite colour 👍
  17. I was watching this earlier and I noticed there’s an extra bass player, anyone know who it is
  18. That 74 is lovely Kevin, and what’s the stack knob one in the bottom pic 🙂
  19. @Byo if I may suggest (if you haven’t already) give Dave green a call at Ashdown, he designed and built the LB , I’ve met him many times and he will tell you anything you want to know about it, mine is number 00046, he took mine apart and cleaned and serviced it and checked the valves and upgraded a few bits , while I waited , they really are top guys at Ashdown 🙂
  20. These are the settings I use for reggae and dub, through a markbass NY115 or an Ashdown 115 deep cab , and I always use the low input
  21. I can’t play that good when I’m not on a bike 😄
