  1. Out of interest skidder, what tube pedal do you use 🙂
  2. That’s looking so good rich, the pickguard has come out great, what about fitting some D’addario black tapes, to keep the colour scheme 🙂
  3. I didn’t know who Sean Hurley was until I looked him up, but I like his playing style and sound on this

  5. Mr loverman (shabba)
  6. Very nice foxy 👍
  7. Great way to spend the day ☝️ , back in the Sony Walkman days I actually wore out a tape of Original Rockers by Pablo whilst travelling back and forth to London on the train🙂
  8. Thanks meterman, I’ve never heard of him, sounds good I must investigate further 👍
  9. Nail polish works quite well for small chips 🙂
  10. I would agree with Paul, I’ve stripped a few using the heat gun that I had refinished and I found it pretty easy once you get going, I did burn the surface slightly when I first tried it but it easily sanded out 🙂
  11. There’s a bit of reading here Baloney that might be of interest to you , I remember posting a few pics there 🙂
  12. We must have a similar record collection 🙂 That’s one of my favourite Dennis brown tracks, I also remember buying this when it came out ,
  13. Love that Bassline, And again here by Jacob miller 1976
  14. Thanks, that’s a great one I haven’t heard in years👍 Daddy Kool records has brought back some great memories, I used to go there every Saturday On the central line, I remember the sign very well , and I think it moved further up the road at some stage 🙂
  15. Massive tune molan, probably one of my most remembered songs from the four aces club in Dalston back in the day 👍
  16. Following too, lately I really don’t like fan noise when I’m practicing at home, which is why I’ve been looking at all valve amps, but I’d be interested in seeing what class D amps have no fan.
  17. I’ve been listening to the album, Moving on by Bitty McLean all week in the car , as I’m learning some of the Basslines , it really is a great album , and Robbie Shakespeare’s playing on this one is superb, here’s a few tracks ☝️ and this is the first track
  18. Me too, I’m gonna have to put it back now to see what I ignored 😁
  19. What a great idea Jim, I often see basses I like that are too far sometimes or I don’t have the time to make the journey, where are you based 🙂
  20. Who said that 😁
  21. I didn’t realise I had so many people on the ignore list , how do you undo it
  22. I only play through my Ashdown head into markbass 15s with a tuner live , but since joining BC I’m starting to collect various pedals 😁, just for a bit of fun really.
  23. Congrats Cat, they are both superb, I’m especially liking the Gretsch, I’m looking at those myself, can I ask what model that is 🙂
  24. I too would recommend Rothko, they did a gold fender decal for me that would show up on a black headstock like this, because the normal ones tend to go transparent,
  25. Since this thread I’ve hidden lots of sigs, I don’t go looking for them but if a long one comes up while I’m reading I just hide it.
