  1. I remember seeing that , but at the time the price tag put me off, beautiful bass though, and I can’t recall seeing any for sale 🙂
  2. Same for me frank, it’s just a classic, it was released about 1978 when I had not long started bass lessons
  3. I’ve bought one, I love a gadget 😁
  4. Back in the day I never had anything to do with abba , but listening now they have some really good well produced tunes
  5. I only use flats, that’s really cool, what magnifier did you get.
  6. I’ve got an LB30 and I had some interference once, it turned out it was a dodgy cab lead , but you said that you’ve tried that , maybe @Ashdown Engineering Can offer some advice 🙂
  7. Yeah they play really nice, it’s got fender flats on and the necks on them are a bit bigger front to back than a standard jazz
  8. It’s a 70s jazz RI , here’s a closer pic frank 🙂
  9. A few people have mentioned the piano and scales, Here’s a short video some may find interesting 🙂
  10. Dare I say it, but I’m a bit of a closet fan of Haircut 💯, and I like this tune 😀
  11. Thanks Bolo, That album sleeve reminded me of this tune by the roots radics, a classic bassline that’s been used on many a recording
  12. He’s an amazing recording engineer, I remember him well mainly from the 80s , I was involved in dub sound systems and many of his tunes were used then , usually very heavy basslines
  13. For me, this one has a nice vibe🙂
  14. Just added this to my playlist, Sweet Bassline Raslee 👍
  15. Wow I can remember first hearing this at a family party when I was about 13 , great tune and I believe it was sly and Robbie on drum and bass 🙂
  16. I just thought I’d share this version of Poor man style , and at 5.11 it’s barrington Levy ,which he released around 1982, he’s always been top of my list for vocals, such a cool tune and a really nice Bassline to play.
  17. I started taking bass theory more serious about 4 years ago, and the more I learned the more things started to make sense , and it’s now part of my practice routine in one form or another, imo @thebigyin it’s time well spent .
