  1. There’s some really great limelight’s here, it’s one of my favourite threads 🙂
  2. If it’s any help, I enquired about a limelight , black 1960s jazz build with stack knobs, light relic ,and it came in at £1500 , posted with a case .
  3. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from Karl , he is an absolute pleasure to deal with, great communication, he posted the same day and it arrived the next, top guy, cheers Tony
  4. There’s no reason why you can’t move down to the D, it’s just what you feel comfortable with, I like to mute the lower string to what I’m playing with my thumb, and I play close to the neck, so I lightly anchor on E A and D strings , the same as is shown in this video at 7.21 . Quite a few friends of mine just anchor on the pickup 🙂
  5. This popped up a while back when I was working on forget me nots slap, and I ended up watching all her videos, she’s so talented
  6. Ah , I don’t know much about them, that’s what came up on YT when I put the dates in, cheers stub 👍
  7. I took a heavy rock fan friend of mine to a black uhuru concert in 1979 , and in return he took me to see motorhead at the Hammersmith odeon , it was the bomber tour, I think this video was the one , and it’s the marshall stack, it’s by far the heaviest concert I’ve ever been to 🙂
  8. I used to listen to a lot of rap , and one of my favourite albums is , The Chronicle by Dre , I still have the battered original copy, well worth a listen
  9. I’m a big fan of the stacked knob jazzes, I’ve had quite a few, my 62RI nitro finish aged really nice, and I changed my shell pink jazz to a concentric control plate, which really gets a lot of use. As @DoubleOhStephan mentioned, you could always fit the control plate to the jazz of your choice 🙂
  10. Very nice, I like the bottom one ☝️
  11. They are Still available , I saw some at Ashdown when I was there a while ago
  12. Just say you’re looking after it for a friend 😉
  13. Or convert into a walk in wardrobe 😁
  14. That’s a cool cab, Does mrs Teebs know what your bringing home, or have you just said it’s a small speaker 😀
  15. It’s £3.20 postage, that’s £9.95 total 🙂
  16. Really great photos there silvia, thanks 👍
  17. Cheers gary, that’s good to know 👍
  18. Yeah I did a similar thing a long time ago , and I used an electric palm sander , it took a while but I got there in the end, good luck 🙂
  19. I set all my basses up and I’ve stripped down , upgraded, and put a few together but I wouldn’t be confident enough to do a fret dress, I’m happy to pay for that one 🙂
  20. Rather than unscrewing the pickguard , why not make a paper template from the top of the one you have and transfer to the other one 🙂
  21. I don’t know that one , but this is my favourite groove Armada tune ☝️
