    I only use flats, one of my jazzes has had the same strings for about 16 years, I might dig my foam mute out now you mention it 👍

    That’s great ☝️, pablo was quite famous for playing the melodica and heavy roots reggae, he also worked with a lot of well known artists especially king tubby. Imo, his early tunes were the best 🙂

    I’ve got back into Augustus pablo lately, this was the first album I bought of his in around 1979 and I still have it, the melodica is just great 🙂

    I’ve had it about a year, and I didn’t use it for a long time because it didn’t go deep enough, but I’ve started using it again, it does have a really nice core tone , it’s just me, I need more bass 😁

    Hi Chris, I’ve got quite a few amps but I like the LB for home practice as it doesn’t have a fan , I do like the sound , but I would like just a little more low bass

    Yeah thanks teebs, someone at the studio gave me a battered one of those to try, and it does work quite well, I might get a new one 👍

    That’s a nice project, i would strip the body with a heat gun and finish it in whatever you choose , I did one a few years ago, and upgraded the parts, it’s good fun

    I play with the bass on full, a bit of mid and treble off , but it’s not quite enough bass , I was looking for something to boost it a bit, 🙂
