That is cool, I especially like the wear on the fretboard, so much character in that bass ☝️
  2. Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated ☝️
  3. That sounds really interesting, and quite a challenge, I know some of the Latin lines can be really fast , I’ve tried a few myself and had trouble keeping up as I’m not a particularly fast player, good luck scalpy ☝️
  4. What sort of basslines will you have to learn, 🙂
  5. I use markbass 15s , with an Ashdown head and it’s a nice deep clear tone I like, I’ve also seen Robbie Shakespeare play through mb and it wasn’t a muddy sound 🙂
  6. Sandberg use this machine, my custom will go to 1mm 12th with no clank
  7. I love a bit of slap, the only time I’ve really nailed the double thumb , was by accident 😄
  8. At the end of this video by miki santamaria there’s a close up of the thumb position ☝️
  9. Same here, I set mine really low, I had a custom shop jazz once that neither I or a tech could get below 2mm at the 12th without buzz , I sold it straight away
  10. I know but I keep going back for another look 😄
  11. I can’t say I’ve seen that particular one before , a quick google says they were made for the 1998 NAMM show
  12. Great name, that bass would be spot on 🙂
  13. I’m not a big fan of gold hardware, but this is really nice 🙂 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F184149997267
  14. They look so good with the wall panel behind ☝️
  15. I’ve changed the pickups in my stacked knob jazz a few times with no issues at all, 🙂
  16. Wow that’s a lot of learning, how do you find the time,
  17. 4x50 or 60 in a 7mm rawlpug, is fine , I haven’t got anything to stop the body banging against the wall, but on exposed brickwork I suppose you could use those adhesive felt pads 🙂
