  1. Oh yeah, this popped up on my YouTube feed during the week and I watched all her videos, she’s brilliant
  2. OMG, it’s on again, 🙄. Headphone time 🙂
  3. That’s a cool Bassline frank, it’s got a good groove to it .
  4. I was playing, book of rules by the heptones the other day and this video by davey of Cambridge bass lessons popped up, he does a good breakdown of a really nice Bassline , for anyone who is interested.
  5. I think he had another brother, flatpak, who used to work in ikea 😁
  6. I use an LB30 through a MB115 cab for home practice , and with the bass switch off it does go fairly quiet, I’ve never tried it through anything smaller than a 115 , but I would’ve thought a smaller speaker would maybe be a bit quieter, I’ve also got mine on an isolation pad to reduce vibration , because I’ve got painted floorboards 🙂
  7. Not a lot of info on them but It says here that in 1964 the original list price was £94.10s in Australia .http://www.coolcarsnguitars.com/GG/shop/matonibisbass.htm
  8. What was the jazz next to it with the matching headstock
  9. I was subjected to it Saturday by my partner but I resolved it with YouTube and my headphones 😁
  10. I’ve never had a westone but I often look at them, and that one looks exceptionally nice, especially the colour scheme of the woods , very nice ☝️
  11. The wood can dry out over time and it just moisturises and replemishes the natural oils, it also seals it , I’ve read it should only be done maybe once or twice a year 🙂
  12. I normally use the fender spray cleaner so I’m gonna give the little kit a go,
  13. Super find, I’m loving that , how does it sound.
  14. Some of gentlemen’s tunes can be a bit hit and miss for me, but I like the Bassline on this one.
  15. Nice one Ricky , I watched this one, this morning ,nice footage at 51.30
  16. Wow it’s up to £106 with 72 watching, i was out at £30 😁
  17. There’s a band I follow called Raging Fyah, they have been around from about 2006, and have been supporting since then , but they are now starting to headline , well worth a listen.
  18. Thanks for that GisserD, ☝️I’ve just had a quick listen to the resonators and they are really good, this one has an old school lovers feel to it .
  19. I’ve removed quite a few necks before to check the date stamps, I laid mine out on a flat surface with a few bath towels and a few bits of foam under the body , so as not to mark it and just took my time, also , ease the neck off gently so you don’t chip the paint 🙂
  20. Drum song is a classic, that Bassline has been used in so many songs over the years.
  21. Thanks to @Frank Blank introducing me to these, I’m now an official samsara fan 🙂
  22. I’m so glad to hear that you’re a fan TheGreek,☝️ I first saw black uhuru in the 80s , and I was totally blown away, Robbie is my favourite bass player , imo it was the best era for reggae.
