    I’ve found, The strings make a difference , the one jazz I have that’s permanently detuned BEAD, has labella deep talking on, which sound fine because of the tension, but if I detune another with LTF’s , it just doesn’t work, fender flats also work well, I can’t speak for rounds as I haven’t used them since 1984 🙂

    On the few occasions that I’ve tried playing something different to reggae I’ve used a few of Constantine’s videos , he’s such a good player, and he’s also a member here

    I’m quite an Alborosie fan and there’s some great bass on his albums , this is one of my favourites, And this one with alborosie on vocals with Raging Fyah, and Delroy Hamilton on bass, it’s a great one to play

    I also like DeLuca bass , he breaks down the grooves quite well

    One I haven’t looked at for a while is , real bass lessons, he really knows his theory and he can play , if you like the Motown thing , he’s got some good videos

    Does anyone know where I can get a gold fender decal for a black headstock like this, I’ve tried 3 so far they look right on the paper but they go clear when they are on the black background, thanks

    @therealting Are we talking about the router shaft size or the cutter size, I was referring to the cutter shank size which is 1/4 or 1/2 , the cutters come in many sizes, like this

    I’ve only ever known 1/4 and 1/2 in shanks, if there is a different one I wouldn’t buy it because all brand cutters are that size 🙂
