I’m not sure if you have one Si, but there’s a few good Stanley no78 rebate planes on eBay at the moment, one is about £15-£20, it needs a good clean up but well worth it, I paid about £50 for mine many years ago 🙂

Great tune with a nice Bassline I’ve been playing today in my summerhouse, through my old Ashdown mag head and a TE 115 , until it got too hot 🙂. by don carlos and another from Al Campbell

I could be wrong but I think these were made in Japan, I’ve heard of the name but I don’t know much about them, @Bassassin may be able to help, it looks like a really great project taddy 👍

I bought a 3/4 Valencia guitar a while back, just to dabble with on the sofa, and I’ve found myself playing basslines on the acoustic and chords on the bass, I need to sort things out 😄

I don’t drink but about 6 years ago I tried a thatchers gold cider, it’s really nice and a bit moorish , is that the one you got Rich 🙂

I used nail polish when I chipped my jazz, it worked quite well, although my partner did ask what I was doing ordering candy apple red nail varnish 😁 -
