  1. Could you do PayPal when you are there, that way you get to see the bass before you pay
  2. The first time I heard this was in Pacha Ibiza, massive tune
  3. I’ve posted this somewhere before, but I use podiatry foam which I got from work, it’s quite soft and it fits just right, it doesn’t alter the intonation at all
  4. Don’t think it’s been mentioned , this was a big tune
  5. Yeah, and they’ve played with so many people too , and produced so many albums, I only found out a few years back that Robbie played a lot of bass for grace jones , I think they did some work with with Britney Spears and Madonna. Theres some nice bass on this too with sinead o Connor that Chris transcribed
  6. That’s great redstriper , the bassline sits right in the pocket ☝️
  7. I don’t have a discount code but They’ve price matched a few times for me and I’ve had a few deals/ discounts in store, might be worth a call if you’ve seen something you like
  8. I don’t think you’re being greedy at all, if it’s something you enjoy doing then why not get what you want. For years I couldn’t afford nice basses and now I can so I buy buy buy 🙂
  9. A few Friday tunes, going back in time with Tappa Zukie And Alborosie with Ky mani Marley, a great Bassline to play
  10. There’s a Jazzmaster prototype on vintage and rare that’s been for sale for a long time at just over 26.000€
  11. It kept doing that on my phone but it works on my iPad
  12. I got 8/15 , but I guessed 2 of them right 🙂
  13. Great one upside downer 👍 , this one takes me back with Augustus pablo on melodica, and the Jacob miller version
  14. Nice job 👍
  15. Yeah It could be si, or maybe it wasn’t firmly flat on the bench so it’s torn a bit as opposed to cutting clean 🙂
  16. If you’re a sly and Robbie fan like me, this is definitely worth a watch, Robbie lays down some really great basslines on this, and he’s playing a stack knob jazz
  17. Not sure if we’ve had any Anthony Johnson yet, , really nice bass on this one around 3.50
  18. They appear like magic 😁
  19. Black magic specialist 😧
  20. I’m the opposite to busy playing really, I pay more attention to the length of my notes and muting in the right place , and leaving space where I can , the fastest song I play is probably World is Africa by Black Uhuru , I do like watching fast players though , especially funk and slap
  21. I only know 2 of those, and it’s not something I would normally play but I’ve tried rhythm stick many times, and I found it really challenging, good luck with everything NJE ☝️
  22. It’s matumbi morning ☝️
  23. Didn’t the bridge have a longer intonation screw in the early 70s
  24. i wasn’t sure when maple boards were introduced, this is according to google, One of the Jazz Bass's most lauded innovations came in 1974, when the neck – with maple fingerboards – received white binding and block inlays.
