  1. I’ve only played it once after hearing it on the radio, it’s such a cool Bassline, definitely a great one to learn 🙂
  2. This one sounds like the most accurate to me, by our very own Constantine 🙂.
  3. I’ve looked at premium, do you think it’s worth it.
  4. That’s a stunner ead, you don’t see the matching headstock and the bound neck very often, GLWYS 🙂
  5. I follow Wobass on YT, she is a bass player from France who plays a lot of reggae, and she posted this today 🙂
  6. Yeah, me too Raslee ☝️
  7. A great mix here from Pablo with Jacob Miller
  8. I’ve been tempted a few times by the cheaper necks from China, but never tried them, I quite like this one . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143570655749
  9. I browse this channel now and again, it’s students bass covers , this is funky and such great playing 🙂
  10. You’re welcome 👍
  11. I’ve never done it but if you click the pen in your profile it opens up a page to turn on status updates , I think 🙂
  12. Is this one https://www.toolpak.co.uk/angle-grinder-saw-disc/115mm-x-22mm-x-4t-angle-grinder-saw-disc.html
  13. It also looks like the binding and the inlays are fine as well.
  14. Absolutely top job stew, I like the use of the kitchen pallet knife, good thinking 👍
  15. [email protected] This is the email they used to keep me up to date on my custom 👍
  16. Sorry Andy, I thought the rule was to be used to score a line along the fingerboard/ neck join 🙂
  17. I would have thought so, the first one will just score the lacquer to get the line and then go slightly deeper each time,
  18. Have you got a ruler like the ones at school, just to score gently to get the line and gradually go a bit deeper 🙂
  19. That’s what I was thinking, would the heat not melt them, maybe cut some heat protecting pads to go over them
  20. Would the fretboard inlays need to be protected so the heat doesn’t lift them, or would they be ok
  21. I saw that, very nice, 👍I’m surprised it’s still available
  22. Hi chewie, yeah I have been on and off, I’ve looked at quite a few but they turned out not to be 100% original or way overpriced 🙂
  23. You could possibly cut some more of the wood out to expose the rod with a Dremel , but it would depend on how much wood is there behind, it may break away when you tighten the nut . I think if you’re careful and take your time, you will be able to remove the fretboard and see what the next plan is 🙂
  24. Yeah, I’m looking 😄
  25. Yeah, but you wouldn’t have to turn down the treble on the amp because the compressor is pretty subtle, these are the settings I use for reggae and dub , the dark does boost the bass and it’s a clear sound, if I turn the light up full it’s only just noticeable
