    My local PMT have a tech who charges between £30 and £40 a set up which I used to use , but I always ended up doing further adjustments to the action, so I setup all my basses myself now 🙂

    I made my one to fit quite snug but I also used a few small bits of double sided tape . Some ramps are fitted using the existing pickup screws 🙂

    Mine felt really strange at first but I like the feel of it under my fingers now, I mainly play close to the neck for a deeper tone but I’ve been moving along just to try the difference , it’s all good fun 🙂

    I’m always looking and watching for anything that can improve my playing, whether it’s theory or technique , if I think it’s beneficial I’ll work on it, I’m forever adding things to my practice routine, sometimes too many 🙂
