I actually quite like some string silk colours, also it helps me remember sometimes what strings are on different basses, (I really should write it down) , I suppose if you didn’t like the colour you could use a black marker pen 🙂
Welcome jceg316, I’d also recommend, mark on talkingbass ,his theory and exercises are good , and he doesn’t waffle on like some of the others , and another one I like is Tony grey bass academy , I’m working on some of his patterns at the moment 🙂
That’s a shame he’s moved, I love his shop, I have a house just around the corner, but I haven’t been there for a while, I might speak to him to have one last look if he hasn’t gone already 🙂
Fantastic Bassline, I’ve tried this myself, but I was working on a few other things at the time so I didn’t give it my full attention, it’s certainly challenging, especially up to speed 🙂
My Ashdown LB30 has an on/off power switch but also has a mute button , which I use when I’m switching basses or leads etc , and I always let it warm up for a few minutes 🙂
Through the early 80s I used a HH ic 100s with a 215 HH cab , it was a superb setup, and I love the green lights, but I unfortunately moved into a smaller flat and had to sell it , but I still have an old HH vs , and it still works 🙂
