I think you’re very right there, I was going to buy it as a project but not really knowing what’s been done and no reply’s put me off , if it was closer I could have had a good look

I messaged the seller a few times with questions , and a neck pocket pic , the first time it was listed, but no reply , and most 72s I’ve seen had the large logo .

I’m still working my way through, watching the detectives on and off , (in between brushing up on some tunes for a upcoming reggae party, ) and really enjoying it, and I also want to give this a try, I’m guessing it’s in D , so do I detune my E to D or would I be better using my 5 string , cheers and Happy new year 🙂

I play with the lowest action I can get, usually around 1 to 1.5mm at the 12th E , I struggle to play my friends jazz which is around 4mm , it just seems hard work for me, and I cannot say I notice a difference in the tone between them, I use this to measure, it’s a handy little tool 🙂
