    Hi jazzmaster, I’d recommend fine , they are really good because they are foam backed and you can bend them into any difficult corners 🙂

    This is my p bass special, it has a jazz neck and has the best of both pickups 🙂

    That sounds very similar to my fender 62RI stack knob jazz bass, it has a different tone to my other jazzes 🙂

    A jazz isn’t just for jazz it’s for whatever you want to play on it , I’ve been playing reggae on one for 30 years 🙂

    😂. The D’Addario tapes I’ve got have quite a deep warm sound but still clear, definitely not zingy, absolutely perfect for reggae 🙂

    I’ve had mine on for about 2 years and they haven’t really changed much tone wise , maybe mellowed a bit, which I like, but they are on a jazz I don’t play constantly , probably around 6 hours a week , my main jazz has tapewounds 🙂

    I’ve been playing a bit of Bob Marley lately, which I haven’t really played in years , this was one of my favourites from about 1980 , great Bassline 🙂

    I’ve got a chair from my office which I took the arms off , and it adjusts up and down and the seat tilts and the back alters so I’m sitting upright , and I can wheel myself around from amp to amp , but that’s just being lazy 😀

    All my jazzes have flats or tapes, out of 13 basses only 1 has rounds and that’s my P 🙂
