I’ve got D’Addario half rounds on my 415 , they’re smooth to play and have that warm tone without losing the clarity , and with a bit of amp tweaking they can go deep 🙂
Just an idea, but If it was me, I would put a small packer in the G string nut slot just to try it , this would let you know if it’s the string slot that’s causing the problem or something else 🙂
The lean to , sounds like the best option to me, and let it dry naturally, what you don’t want is for it to chill, nitrocellulose goes patchy if it does 🙂
Hi I once left a bass to dry outside and came back to find lots of fly’s and bugs stuck to it 😀 The shed temperatures will drop of an evening which is not really good. , Indoors is better, just hang it up something like this 🙂
Having just joined the Yamaha club 🙂, I’ve noticed the right one has the p pup, the opposite way to mine, and the left one has a totally different configuration, what models are these 🙂
