  1. I bought that album when it came out and I’ve still got it along with many others , definitely one of the best along with Uprising
  2. Gat Decor is a classic, I remember when it came out, good fun to play I imagine
  3. This popped up on my YouTube
  4. Got to have a bit of John Holt now and again, from around 1972 Riding For A Fall, this video made me listen to the above, great footage and the voice is amazing
  5. Welcome Graham
  6. Thanks lowdown, it just came up on my YouTube while I was driving, it’s a pretty odd track I think but I quite liked the Bassline , your right about dozing off though 😁
  7. Maybe they also have a limelight and have put the wrong pics up 🤷‍♂️
  8. Anyone ever heard this before, I quite like it and the bassline
  9. This weekend I’ve been learning Hills And Valleys by Buju Banton , played well here by Frank Negrao , still working on the changes around 1.95
  10. Welcome ET, big fender fanboy here and I can honestly say that I’ve never seen one of those before, I’m following with interest
  11. Same here, you can’t beat it, if I had the space (which I’m working on) I’d have the biggest Ampeg rig I could get
  12. I like markbass and used them for years before I switched to Ampeg, I do think they have a certain sound and the VLE and VPF controls I really liked, if you don’t want to buy another amp I believe they do a few preamp/ pedals, but I’ve never tried them
  13. Yes, I thought the same when I saw the title , Ive heard it so many times, glad he put that out there . Im quite liking this guy , he hasn’t got many videos yet but I think his channel could be interesting,
  14. Congrats on your new bass, I missed out on a red one of these a while back, the build quality looks really good, the neck wear isn’t for me but that’s just personal taste, nice one
  15. Exactly, quite an ignorant statement to make , I could name many reggae bass players that I’d guess a lot of people wouldn’t know, it doesn’t make them ignorant, it’s just something they’ve never looked into or it’s not their genre
  16. Hi, I can’t tell you anything about it but it looks pretty cool to me , im sure someone will be along soon with info
  17. Been on a bit of a Lloyd Parks one lately, great singer and bass player and at sunsplash 82 on his P bass, started learning this today
  18. Not knowing much about him I just listened to Everyday Is Like Sunday, it’s not bad really , maybe a bit like Oasis where just a few songs is enough for me
  19. Different tuners and truss rod cover though
  20. I don’t know much about dean, but is this the same https://ebay.us/m/RBDJqC
  21. Great Bassline I like that one, nice job
  22. I can’t really say I know much morrisey or smith’s but there’s probably a few songs I’d listen to if I went through their stuff, I’ll try to listen to anything once (except Coldplay 😁) Wetherspoons is great if you want cheap and cheerful and they do a decent breakfast, and unlimited coffee , i don’t think I’ve ever rubbished anything here just because it’s not my thing, I actually like to see what other people like, but I do notice that some do , especially when the subject Fender pops up
  23. Looks like they come in at about $8,000 ,
