That’s a great one, I’ve tried myself but couldn’t get it up to speed, to be honest I didn’t stick with it long enough as I had a few others on the go at the time, great Bassline, good luck
Hi, hard to tell exactly but it looks like the A D G are flats and the E is a roundwound, I’d put a set of new strings on , either flats or rounds, depending on what you like the sound and feel of
I had a quick flick through some of the grooves, it’s not really my style of music ,but if you was stuck for something to work on it looks like there’s plenty to play along to, some are quite challenging too
I wouldn’t class the 80s as vintage myself, for me it’s around 1975 ish, but would it depend how old you were @BassAgent is young so I suppose his idea of vintage would be different to mine
Andy has just put up another nice jazz in one of the best colours imo

It’s all in the mojo and magic dust 🙂, are they better, possibly not but they are certainly different, I think it’s just what you find more appealing, will my 2019 jazz still be around in 63 years like the one above, I really don’t know
It has everything to do with age, you won’t find a 68 P less money than a 72, I’ve been looking for a 68 for quite a while and there’s none for sale, 68 are always 6k and a 72 is 4K now
I don’t know anything about entwistle , but from what I can gather from the story it’s not the 68 they thought it might be, perhaps some here might know more , id say price difference would be around 2K ish
