It is really nice and I know there’s not many around that are all original ,but I’m not sure I could part with 28K for it , I think it will sell though,
63 years old, original , and still going strong is amazing
I’ve had similar here, I messaged about a bass cab and and would they post it, they replied yeah sure, then total silence, I understand people ignoring me 😁, but I thought they might want my money
Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for someone, I doubt spaces like this come up very often, hope you find someone and all the best with your retirement pete
I’ve got my basses on wall hangers and they haven’t hit the wall yet, if you are concerned then a piece of foam near the bottom stuck to the wall with double sided tape should do the trick
I had every intention to buy it but it would have been a long journey, so sending a few pictures would have told me weather it was worth doing, I’m not going to make a 6 hour drive to find out there’s no neck stamp , anyone selling a vintage instrument should have the standard pictures of parts and serial numbers everyone would ask to see , it did eventually sell but not to me 🙂
If you like the B15 there’s an interesting video here you might enjoy, quite informative I thought ,and the end part has made me dig out my PF50T for tomorrow
Don’t know why some people do that, they obviously can’t be bothered to sell it, I’ve just had a similar experience with someone on reverb, they lost a sale because they wouldn’t send me pictures of the neck stamp 🤷♂️
I’ve never actually done that myself, although I have been invited to, I know what I’m doing but I’d be a bit cautious with someone else’s bass , I usually ask for lots of pictures of all the parts I want to see and then I know what’s original and whether it’s worth going to see it, if they don’t send the pictures I don’t bother (which happened to me recently)
