  1. I’ve got mine next to me now, I use it most evenings through the Nux , they sound immense in active mode and with labella flats
  2. I’m guessing the indents could be from the mutes on a 61
  3. This looks quite interesting, what do you think https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305254867950?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=QKPLj-MsQIG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1wDkd4CjTIi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
  4. Been playing jazzes and precision’s most of my life and never done this myself
  5. That’s tough, I’ll guess ashdown cab
  6. Good one, Flabba is one of my favourite bass players, Roots Radics
  7. I’ve never seen one of those before myself, you could also try the Yamaha thread there’s some very knowledgeable folks there
  8. I think Nat King Cole had lots of them, one of my uncle’s was a big fan of him
  9. Listening to some early Marley this morning, this is a great one which Stephen Marley covers now, which is also really good
  10. I take my RM500 to the studio in the shoulder bag and I play reggae and dub, it has plenty of lows and it’s not really what I would call a bright sounding amp especially with the shape button ,and they have a super quiet fan, if you wanted more power there’s the RM800 which I think is the same , they are reasonably priced now too
  11. If you’re finding it comfortable to play I’d buy it for that money, just give it a clean up and I would oil the fretboard if it was mine ,and if it needs setting up then it will play even better, imo if you want to change the pickups then Tonerider ones can be bought fairly cheap and they are very good , they come up for sale here now and again , good luck
  12. Loving that Tim, nice drumbeat and smooth Bassline, top job
  13. Ah yeah , that one went right over my head 😁
  14. It makes no difference to me ,but wouldn’t a Entwhistle fan pay more for it which would up the bidding price
  15. Thanks for that, I’ll be watching for that one, I think the provenance may take the price way too high for me but should be interesting
