Sounds great, I went through that riddim once and found some great stuff, I’ll look later and try to find it

So my mini precision arrived yesterday and I have to say it’s a great little thing, it sounds exactly as a P should, I don’t think the pickups need changing, I’ll probably order another pickguard as I’m not keen on the white one on a black bass, and I need to source some flats for it as rounds aren’t my thing , I’ll have a look through my string box

Was playing some Rod Taylor yesterday, it’s a simple but really great Bassline so I explored it more and it’s known by quite a few riddims , one being He Prayed Riddim, there’s so many tracks , pablo, Dillinger, burning spear, big youth, and of course Scientist Extra time one and Ice cream love has a nice variation to it

Hi mick, if you haven’t already this thread might be worth a look, I use a big baby ll gen 3 and its quite light, very powerful and clean sounding

Same as mine, I think it was mentioned earlier somewhere that it’s ok to clip the red but not to be continuously in it

Great setup spyder, they do have a lovely tone, I really should use mine more often

They do look good don’t they, there’s another one I see called Flight mini JB , but they are quite a bit more expensive, great looking little things though, lately I’ve gone from looking at 1965 jazzes to mini basses 😁
