    I narrowed down my vintage basses a few years back , I’m down to just one a 71 precision which I play mostly, I think the wear and tear goes with the territory as they are normally around 50 - 60 years old and that’s the price you pay to play something pretty special , I take mine anywhere because it’s there to be played , I will be buying more if something catches my attention

    Same here, mine is working just fine as before, only difference is it asked me a question to add to the login, which I choose as my 2FA

    Cool, I’ve found the nordymutes do a great job when your looking that certain sound , and they easily lift on or off

    Sounds like you may have had it too tight, did you try it around the nut, I use them all the time to kill the overtones and stop the open strings ringing out, it suits what I’m playing sometimes

    I was looking up the reggae sunsplash which I was at in 84/85 and came across this great footage of one of my favourite players Lloyd Parks, good voice too and another track with Lloyd i like , nice dub .

    I haven’t had any on reverb , but if i put anything on gumtree I get a scammer within 2 minutes

    Yeah I like pdbass, I’ve got a few of his videos saved, this is a good one I thought ,and I’ve enjoyed working my way through the basslines for something different, no 2 is a good one

    I had one a long time back then switched to the RM range, very good amps, there was an ABM 500 watt EVO 111 in the for sale section for £175 I think a while ago

    Nice groove that, looking at a few write ups on Joe Ayoub he plays a 72 precision which it looks like, maybe a changed pickguard , can’t be sure but I think they may be flats with the red silks with the tone up full, great sound and great playing

    Scott is a great teacher imo and it’s worth checking out his blues videos, they are very good, he’s also a member here although doesn’t post very often, I found rhythm stick very challenging, I’ve been trying to play it since 1982 😁
