  1. It’s a 70s -80s kay , I’ve got one and a few others here 👍
  2. Yeah I know what you mean, I’ve played this and it’s quite a driving Bassline behind the song, Ranchie McLean isn’t it in that video, I’ve also seen Robbie Shakespeare on some credits before , not sure if he also played on the album
  3. Two great tracks there, welcome to jamrock is imo the best one Damien ever did, definitely in my top 10 favourite tunes, one step forward is a great Bassline to play, pretty sure Boris Gardiner played that on the album with the Upsetters
  4. Looks like a kay cort 70-80s to me
  5. That doesn’t sound long for 35 songs, I’d struggle with that, good luck it all sounds good 👍
  6. Have you tried just adjusting the bridge saddles up a bit before you do anything else to see if it makes any difference
  7. Just to catch up here, when you fret single notes on your bass do they all buzz on all strings

  12. That’s a great one, did you find it tricky to learn, I tried it but struggled up to speed
  13. This has to be one of my favourite John Holt songs , originally written by Barry Gibb I believe And a bit of chronixx
  14. Nice one 👍, it’s fairly straightforward and it’s got a great feel to it
  15. Three Little Birds- Bob Marley is a nice one to play now and again, always brings a smile
  16. 😁, I had another set delivered after yours , so I might have to buy another bass now
  17. Really powerful and great sounding cab, probably one of the best I’ve had, GLWYS
  18. I’ve just remembered that I’ve had a sat of Adagio flats on one of my jazzes for about 7 years, they are a really good string for the money
  19. Aston Barrett Robbie Shakespeare Flabba Holt Leroy Sibbles Val Douglas Lloyd Parks Boris Gardiner Fully Fullwood Sean Hurley James Jamerson
  20. Thanks for that one, I used to play that many years back , I must revisit it it’s a great Bassline, back in the Matumbi days , this one too
  21. It’s a very good community in my opinion, I’ve met up with many people here, mainly when I’m parting with money for something 😁, and everyone of them have been great, I’ve a lot less on my ignore list than I used to and I think that’s because it’s so well moderated now (thanks mods 👍), I’m always chatting with someone by PM and I’ve received great advice and knowledge from many about things when I’ve asked, I’m not going anywhere so I’m afraid you’re stuck with me 😁
