Did I say that, I don’t think so , I personally do care what’s on the headstock of my basses and I don’t look down on anybody full stop, it’s up to other people what they play

I collect and play mainly vintage fenders so i do care what’s on the headstock, I guess I must be one of those pond life cork sniffing snobs

From my understanding late 73 was when they started changing from tort to black and both were around in 74 , with most of the black guards having the thumb rest E side, haven’t seen a 75 myself , I suppose it’s possible there was still a few lurking around

There’s some fantastic tracks here, I’m going to put them all into a YouTube playlist and work my way through them one by one just playing by ear at first, big thanks to everyone for your suggestions

I’m only Labella myself, LTF’s and 760FL on most of my jazzes and precision’s, and TI’s on one P bass , but I’m not sure about them yet, flatwounds are not as murky as you might expect 🙂

Yeah, fantastic amp, they have that warm valve sound which is perfect for what I play and mines going nowhere , glad it’s loud enough for you BassAdder , I’ve never needed mine up full
