  1. Good one, I like that, pretty heavy
  2. Some also have the Allen key nut at the heel, pretty sure my 2014 jazz has that
  3. Yes, a lot of the time it will just tell you what year it is
  4. Yeah spot on, binding and bridge only stringing
  5. It looks genuine to me , but the only range I remember with the blocks was the AV 70s reissues, I had one in sunburst , but the logo looks wrong for one of those , stickers would explain it as the first one is missing
  6. Absolutely agree with you there, I can’t watch anything by any of them😬, but , and there is a but , I thought Scott’s interviews with Sean Hurley and Freddie Washington were great, I wouldn’t watch anything else though
  7. It does come in handy sometimes 😁
  8. Click your account, then ignore and type in who you want
  9. Yeah just change the saddles, I’ve done it on a few of my jazzes as I like the threaded ones, I got the fender ones a long time back maybe from allparts, they were quite expensive though, or maybe get a hosco bridge and just take the saddles off, like this
  10. Can’t say I’ve ever heard that one before 😁
  11. I’ve always used a strip of business card with no problems whatsoever, that very thin shim can make a big difference to your setup, I wouldn’t go any thicker
  12. Congratulations Grand Master 😁
  13. I might be missing something here but what difference does the line make
  14. Great one here I’m playing at the moment, not heard very often, Gregory Isaacs and Set the captives free
  15. Tweed cabs to match, looks great
  16. Well I looked at the pictures pretty closely and I’m not sure who it is, just glad I haven’t got anything coming from Europe at the moment
  17. Have to agree with that one, many have come and gone but my 2014 Olympic white one is going nowhere
  18. If the bass arrived last week I’d have thought the builder would have come up with a response or resolution by now, hopefully something has been sorted
  19. What I’ve learned is long practice sessions don’t really work for me, I don’t tend to absorb it all, whereas if I do 1 - 2 hours I remember everything, also if I can’t quite get something like a tricky Bassline, I always take a break then come back to it , and more often than not I get it straight away , I used to end up noodling for hours but now I make notes of what to focus on
  20. Hi Tony, I wish you all the very best in your future decisions ,and really hope you’ll stick around here to share your thoughts and knowledge , I always enjoy your posts
  21. Love that, you don’t see those for sale very often , I bet it sounds great, hope you get it
  22. This is what I was thinking, are they honestly expecting any customer to not raise these issues, and why send it knowing the imperfections
  23. Wow that’s a lot of practice, I really admire your dedication, I don’t think I’ve ever done that much, at one time I was doing around 4 to 6 hours a day , you must have improved immensely over the 3 years
