  1. I’ve got flats on 7 jazzes, wouldn’t have it any other way
  2. Thanks for that one, I’ve got a bit of a drive now so will check that out
  3. Very nice, congrats , I’ve got a 2014 one, they really are great jazzes
  4. That’s a big chunk of non refundable deposit there walshy isn’t it
  5. That would put me off too, I had a similar instance a while back with a shop near Yarmouth which is quite a way from me, I asked him to save an early P bass he had listed , and he said no and it sold that evening , puts you off dealing with some people
  6. Welcome back jefbogaerts
  7. Another one from Jo choui, great tones here from the different amps and setups , and I quite like the groove he’s playing, never heard it before
  8. Amazing job, looks great
  9. I’m not in any bands anymore but do a bit of studio work occasionally, I still play pretty much every day, I’ve always got new songs I’m learning or working on improving my techniques or trying to learn more theory, I think it keeps the mind ticking over, I don’t feel right if I’m not doing something
  10. I think we are already being flooded with it, my YT is about 90% reggae and I’d say half of that at the moment is AI, some of it is extremely good, it’s even had me looking up the artists which I hadn’t heard of but they don’t exist, they are also using pictures of famous artists to draw you in but it’s not them, I don’t know how they get away with that one
  11. Anything from 4-5k I’d say depending on condition and if it has the original case
  12. Something not right with this one to me, I can’t exactly put my finger on it, maybe it’s the white guard and newer knob’s that’s throwing it, neck pocket doesn’t look right and the truss rod nut is proud which would suggest it’s been packed out maybe with washers, not sure about this one
  13. Thanks, didn’t know that about the pickup, the build quality and finish on them is very high, I nearly bought the Sean Hurley custom but to me there wasn’t a great deal of difference apart from the price, I’d still like the Sean custom if one came along at a reasonable price, especially if it made me play like him 😁
  14. Hi pete, I’d keep an eye out for an AVRI 62 or 63 P, they are exceptional basses, I’ve got a 62 and I believe the difference is the 63 has a fuller neck profile where mine is slimmer from front to back which I find comfortable, they also hold their value and are pretty sought after, I can’t comment on Japanese I’ve never had one
  15. I don’t normally like stripped basses, but that is a lovely finish
  16. If you can miles try one of the necks with the B width nut, you might be pleasantly surprised, my 71 precision and all the early ones I’ve had have ( like most from 67/68) a 40mm nut but they are very comfortable , I’ve played mainly jazzes for years and I can pick up my P and not really notice a difference , the mid to late 70s ones can come up a bit chunkier, but not the earlier ones
  17. Nice work Leonard, I’d happily listen to that, good luck with your entry
  18. Just have to give this a play every now and then
  19. Yes I’m finding that too, lately my YouTube has been flooded with AI reggae, some of it I must admit is really good but very clean like you say, also some are using pictures of original artists to draw you in, when I’m sure it isn’t them singing
  20. Yeah I like that one too rob, I don’t think it’s a bad price either compared with some that are around
  21. I’ll keep an eye out for you, I’m always browsing
  22. I think many people wouldn’t know that she’s not actually playing those lines, I’ve got miss reggae lots of times with this old trick 😁
  23. Won’t they knock against each other there lefty, or is there more space than it looks
