  1. There’s a red one for sale in the Norwich crack converters,
  2. I did look out of curiosity, but couldn’t find anything , glad you found it
  3. Looks good Si, is there any videos of this, I had a quick look but they seem to be a different model to yours
  4. I also thought the first tort guards had 11 screws and not 13 , but could be wrong
  5. Must be one of the most expensive precisions I’ve seen, and I’ve never heard of Shellback, looks nice though
  6. Very Nice, I’ve never played one of those before, I quite like the body shape and they look comfortable to play
  7. Been looking into Trevor castell also known as Trevor Junior, there’s some nice bass on his tracks which I’ve narrowed down to 3 players , Chris Meredith, Robbie Shakespeare and George Fully Fullwood, one of those artists that’s been around a long time but not overly well known, here’s a few nice version on this from around 1984 and from the rub a dub album
  8. Tequila sunrise sounds ace, really nice acoustics too
  9. Sorry to hear this, I think you have to do what makes you happy, I’d just keep one favourite bass even for sentimental reasons, good luck my friend
  10. Great isn’t he, I’ve watched many of his videos, nice guy too, he hasn’t visited here for quite a while
  11. Not sure if I’ve mentioned him before but I like some of Janek Gwizdala‘s videos, he’s great for theory and has some good grooves too
  12. I saw that on reggaeville, I remember them being around , mainly as a backing band but they didn’t do much for a few years, I really like some of their stuff and I’ll definitely be interested in the story
  13. Think that’s what happened to my son, when it finally got to him they wanted £750, he said he doesn’t like them that much
  14. Yeah true, I’ve always played with a light touch so I’m ok there ,but I’m not a particularly fast player so I was kinda after the less busier ones to get me going, because I’ve always played reggae and dub it’s been a really great learning experience , and I’d say it’s improved my playing
  15. Very nice, was the right hand one a custom order, I noticed it’s got fret markers
  16. I’d steer clear of that one myself, it will probably end up costing more than it’s worth to replace the truss rod, and it’s got binding which makes it more difficult, just my opinion
