  1. I found that they start to feel good after about 2-4 weeks of regular playing, a lot quicker than the 760FS I’ve got as they took ages, if you’re ok with the TI tension I think you might like them
  2. Everything as Lee says really, they are in my opinion the warmest sounding labella’s especially when played in, the tension is fairly low but not low as in floppy, about the same as TI’s , I’ve got 760FL’s on another precision and they are definitely brighter sounding, I’ve got a worn in set on my 71P for that classic P with flats sound and it’s a perfect match, on my jazzes you have the pickup options for more varied tone if you need it , I play reggae so they are good for my sound, I don’t have a spare set at the moment or I would send you them to try, I’m looking for some more myself
  3. That’s a stunner Admiral, congrats
  4. Nice work, I don’t really know any iron maiden ,I’d say most songs can be Reggaefied if you get the rhythm right, it seems that the ,Easy Star All Stars did ok out of covering pink Floyd with Dub side of the Moon
  5. One precision I bought with a maple fingerboard was a bit grimy, I used some of miss RB’s makeup wipes to clean it up as they don’t contain alcohol , and buffed it with an old T shirt
  6. Pretty sure I’ve read before that lemon oil is not good for maple boards, it’s mainly for the rosewood and darker ones
  7. Two for a Friday, first up is Sammy Dread Rainy Days, such a great voice and dub style scientist Beam Down, will be playing this Bassline tomorrow
  8. Good description Paul, that’s how I found it, playing reggae it really sounded better than the stock pickup , I also had the cap changed in my P to a 0.1 I think, to give me an even warmer sound , I get really nice lows now
  9. Linval Thompson and the roots radics 1979
  10. Hard to tell on my phone but could the scribble be Seymour ?
  11. I was going to look them up but I’m definitely not putting that into google 😀
  12. Never heard of them, good drum beat going on there Cato
  13. I suppose we are all different but I quite like some wear on the early fenders, my 71 has been heavily played and it shows it, but not abused, I looked at one that was mint condition and although it was really nice it seemed to lack any character, I don’t like it when the necks have damage though
  14. The wear looks like genuine play wear doesn’t it
