  1. Touch up with nail varnish maybe
  2. Nice way to spend the afternoon, I’ve been doing a fair bit of driving this week listening to some albums I haven’t heard for a while, one was Doing it Right by Desi Roots from around 1980, sly and Robbie on this one and
  3. Thanks for that one t-h, nice riddim
  4. A bit of Desi Roots today, I’m also learning this one
  5. Something like this maybe, although this is a 63 I think
  6. Personally I wouldn’t do anything like that, I’ve been using flats for many years and I like mine worn in ,so if i sell one of my basses I take the flats off and just wipe them down and put them back in the packet for the next bass
  7. Welcome Ollie
  8. Ah, same as my work one
  9. Is it this one, that’s not bad
  10. Cruising through Leytonstone listening to some Peter Tosh
  11. Never seen that one, it looks good
  12. Can’t see that clearly on my phone but it looks like the same bass
  13. It’s definitely good to read through now and again ,but it just makes me want to go shopping 😁
  14. I noticed that too, looks like it’s right
  15. je n'ai pas été à paris depuis de nombreuses années maintenant, n'est-ce pas très agréable ces jours-ci
  16. @ash has pointed that one out in another thread, the logo is telling me it’s not a 78 , shouldn’t it be a S8 serial
  17. I thought the Mexican ones didn’t come out until about 1990?, a 78 would have S8 serial number wouldn’t it
  18. I like the wear on the fingerboard, very nice, is it all original
  19. I’m guessing they’ve added the wrong bass picture , it’s not a 78 with that logo
  20. We believe you 😉😁
  21. I only use bass-lead-amp, I prefer the sound of my amps and basses, and there’s no need for any pedals playing reggae, I occasionally have a play around with my ampeg preamp but that’s just for fun
  22. Welcome Cici , I’ve been to Ashdown many times, lovely people
  23. Bonjour welcome toonet
  24. After all that great work you’ve put in to it I’d maybe just get someone to sort the neck and fret it for you if you don’t want to do it, I wouldn’t worry about the weight, nice work
  25. I think we’ve had this one but it’s definitely worth another listen and I’m liking this from Johnny Earl
