@ash has pointed that one out in another thread, the logo is telling me it’s not a 78 , shouldn’t it be a S8 serial

I thought the Mexican ones didn’t come out until about 1990?, a 78 would have S8 serial number wouldn’t it

I only use bass-lead-amp, I prefer the sound of my amps and basses, and there’s no need for any pedals playing reggae, I occasionally have a play around with my ampeg preamp but that’s just for fun

After all that great work you’ve put in to it I’d maybe just get someone to sort the neck and fret it for you if you don’t want to do it, I wouldn’t worry about the weight, nice work -

I’ve been using mine a lot and its never failed yet, I’ve been using my Hohner B2A for playing on the sofa because it’s a bit smaller than the fenders ,and I got a short extension lead which works great because the jack is on the bottom of the body and it doesn’t get squashed , this also sounds great in active mode

Really nice, congrats , I bought a hohner B2A to see if I like the body shape with the intention of buying one of those but I haven’t got around to getting one yet

This is really nice, I’m surprised there’s not more interest -
Think mine had purple silk but maybe different gauges have different colours

They aren’t TI’s , the silks are the same colour but yours look very smooth whereas TI’s are not

I only use flats and I found the chromes quite high tension compared with the labella’s I normally play, also very bright sounding, good if your looking for that sound but they wasn’t for me
