I used to have lots in boxes and cases all over the place that I switched around and only used some occasionally ,so a while back I got rid of my markbass and all but one of my Ashdown ones, I mainly like valve amps so I’m down to Ampeg V-4B , main amp Ampeg PF 50T, occasionally Ashdown RM500, easy to take out and carry around Behringer Ultrabass , great amp, still going strong and I use it to play music through

me too.. for about 10 minutes last week, then I was back looking for a 65 jazz 😁

Does it do it with all strings you try, I’d be reluctant to change the pickups on your jazz , is it the lovely mint untouched sunburst one

My first bike was a Yamaha RD250, my friend had a Kawasaki KH250 and I seem to remember the superdream looking quite slick in the day

If there’s a gap you might get a hacksaw blade in to cut them

If you’ve got a dremel you might be able to cut a slot in the broken screw top and try unscrewing with a slotted screwdriver

Been having a play and I’ve worked out the volume , I hadn’t selected the right ir cab 🙄, I’ve got the SV810 and it’s much better, played a few Marley’ tracks and it’s a decent reggae sound , I could get addicted to this 😁

Best advice here, this is what I do just for exercise , I just go up and down the fretboard alternating as there’s lots of finger variations ,while watching tv sometimes with bass unplugged , I found it increases speed too , alternating finger picking at the same time

Well this dropped through my door yesterday and I had a short play with it last night, I haven’t read up anything yet just installed the app and plugged it in and played, so far I really like it , doesn’t seem very loud but maybe I need to try my various other headphones and read the settings properly, one thing that’s really good is I can just play to YouTube or any music on my iPad with no messing around, can’t wait to play with it later
