New kings road guitars have got a nice 62 precision in, my friend bought a very similar 62P from them 5 years ago and he’s still got it https://www.newkingsroadguitars.com/product-page/1962-fender-precision-bass-in-sunburst-finish

Carrying on the Barrington levy, I remember when this came out around 1980, such a good one that doesn’t get played very often , Roots Radics backed a lot if not most of his tracks, Flabba on bass

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
Reggaebass replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
Yes 😁, I was tempted by a black mustang a while back but I’ve got so many basses I need to move some on first, I’d squeeze a shell pink one in though 😁 -

Nice one Dave, big Ampeg fan here, I use the low switch on mine all the time it really adds some warmth
-
What a great way to spend your day too ,comparing them

Thanks very much for that, those fretboards look really nice and dark , that’s two lovely jazzes to own

I used to have lots in boxes and cases all over the place that I switched around and only used some occasionally ,so a while back I got rid of my markbass and all but one of my Ashdown ones, I mainly like valve amps so I’m down to Ampeg V-4B , main amp Ampeg PF 50T, occasionally Ashdown RM500, easy to take out and carry around Behringer Ultrabass , great amp, still going strong and I use it to play music through

me too.. for about 10 minutes last week, then I was back looking for a 65 jazz 😁

1971 Fender Jazz pick up replacements advice
Reggaebass replied to Woody1957's topic in Repairs and Technical
Does it do it with all strings you try, I’d be reluctant to change the pickups on your jazz , is it the lovely mint untouched sunburst one -
My first bike was a Yamaha RD250, my friend had a Kawasaki KH250 and I seem to remember the superdream looking quite slick in the day

Curious who this is, I’m a big YouTuber and can’t think who it might be, sounds really good

I like the Bassline on this, it’s a band I don’t know much about so I’ll be investigating further, but a quick overview is - More Relation became a band in 1977 with Isaac James, Delroy Campbell, George "Pampas" Ricketts, and Howard Ottey as members. Started in New York as a backup band for many reggae artists such as Melodians, Larry Marshall, Carlton (Badboys) Coffee, Ken Booth, Slickers
