  1. Would the stamps on the pots give you any more information , you already know the year , but when you put all your findings together it’s all good to know
  2. That’s really nice, not sure if any info here is useful
  3. I’ve always got a bass within reaching distance, I play it unplugged just to work out basslines or noodling , I’ve also got a Yamaha SessionCake for headphones which is quite a handy little thing
  4. Yeah, me too, I’d expect them in sealed packaging
  5. Dennis Brown this morning
  6. It does look great, i like both jazzes and precision’s at different times, I nearly bought it when it was up before ,but again I’ve bought too much lately 😁, good luck with whatever you get Bruce
  7. Really nice, i like these
  8. I don’t know much about the musicmaster but aren’t they normally well over 2K for that year, seems way too good to be true
  9. Coffee and a beer, i like your style 😁
  10. Thanks BB ☝️, miss RB has just put it on
  11. Very nice 👍
  12. That’s good, I’m not an expert on these things ,but I think you need to find out what size and what thread it is to be able to get another nut , maybe try screwing on a few different bolts in a shop to find out if you don’t have any
  13. Hi welcome, maybe another type of truss rod nut might fit if it comes off
  14. As long as it’s done the job , well done 👍
  15. Nice one, I’ve been watching Glastonbury on and off but to be honest there wasn’t one thing I liked, thanks for this myke I’ll check it out
  16. I normally spend a few months of the year in Spain and I’m on basschat the same as when I’m in the uk, nothing wrong with laying on the beach looking at basses for sale 😁
  17. Don’t think I’ve posted this, I came across it while looking for some jamerson basslines to play, great tune
  18. Like a lot of us here we’ve been through many combinations of amps and cabs, some work well and others not so well for the sound we want, the setup I’ve had for a while I really like and I can’t see me changing it any time soon, it’s the Ampeg V4B with a big baby gen 3, my 71 precision with really worn in flats sounds lovely through it, it didn’t seem to match well with my markbass 15 or Ashdown 15, I also use an Ampeg PF50T which is ok but doesn’t seem in the same league as the V4
  19. Looks great, nice job 👍
  20. Was listening to Dino Perkins - skin him alive today , just love the Bassline, and found this which is the riddim , Dino is at 5.32
  21. Good luck Jack, I’m sure all will be great ☝️
  22. Yeah I noticed that, and it’s the one I’ve mostly seen
  23. Apparently in the 70s they did a whole collection
