1. Now dropped this down to £30 - looking for a quick sale. Baragin! Here's some pic's as well...
 2. Hello bass troops, I have recently aquired this pedal from a fellow bass chatter. However, after trying it out and so forth, I've decided it doesn't suit the style I play when I use it. Don't let this take away from this pedal! It is very good - built in Chorus and tremolo and the most robust housing I've come across. The Spec: Creamy chorus and vintage tube-amp tremolo Speed and depth controls Hard/Soft Tremolo Wave selector 4 EQ presets Wet/Dry Mix control Pickup selector Hefty die-cast case I'm looking £35 inc postage or a swap of some kind if it tickles my fancy. Don't hesitate to drop me a PM. Thanks, Josh
 3. Hey chaps - this is still for sale. I'm actually after a Fender Precision Bass of some sort, so might be up for swap. But the cash deal is still on the table
 4. Hey bass troops, Has anyone got their hands on one of these? My local music store website says they're coming around January, which is now. It does look interesting. Ashdown say it won't rip my head off but it will be good enough for small gigs. A 30 watt bass amp? Is this an overestimation I wonder? It does pack in 4 valves which my ears do prick up at. Anyone who does have one I'd be interested in what the verdict is... Josh

 6. Hey guys, This will probably be the most regretful sale of my life, however, due to debts that need paying, I need to sell this and am urgently looking for a buyer. I am just laying down some feeler's to see if anyone is interested. I bought this guitar about 2 years ago for £2699 brand new. It has all the trimmings - Back and sides are in Indian Rosewood whilst the top is in Sitka Spruce. The fretboard is in ebony with goldplated machineheads. Ive always strung this guitar with Elixir's which sound amazing and last forever. The Expression pickup system is unbelievable. Every string sings with this pickup system. I cannot fault it. This guitar comes with it's Taylor hardcase. It's a wonderfully balanced guitar. It is small but don't let that fool you! This guitar covers all frequencies with such ease. I'm looking for £1800 for the guitar I will take pics and put up soon. Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks! Josh
 7. I was looking along the lines of Orange Bass Tiny Terror and one of their cabs. Definately portable enough but it is pushing onto a £1k
dpending on your budget, have a look at the new Orange bass Terror head and one of their SP210 cabs. Compact and more versatile than a combo.
8. Boss TU-2. Gigged for about 5 years. Its scratched, its battered and it still works spot on.
 9. It looks like vomit from a rainbow.
 10. There must be someone who wants this
Yo troops, Ive got a Boss EQ GE-7 that needs a new home. Its been gigged, so one of the sliders is missing it's white top hat (thats definately the technical term ) and another is slightly cracked. It's a great pedal! Interested in a swap of any sort really - otherwise I'll sell for £25 inc postage. Josh
13. I do remember my fellow 6 stringed guitarist saying the looper was a bit difficult to nail.
 14. Yo Josh. First of all - great name My guitarist has an MM w/ Hazari. He had to buy one when his delxue broke and sent it off to the legend John Chambers in nottingham to get it fixed. It's a great pedal for a guitarist, not sure what it would be like for a bassist. There was a slight drop in signal quality tbf but it's pretty good. You can get some many different types of delays, reverbs and a loop facility as well. The great thing is you can save all your presets, which is great if you use different types of delays/reverbs for diff songs. The Memory Boy - thats new on the scene so Im not sure about that. It's pretty cheap and specs look pretty good! I'd be pretty interested in hearing what this sounds like. Josh
Hey all, Ive been looking at the Memory Man with Hazari (I think its digital) and the Memory Boy. So anybody got any views, just any info would be great! Cheers, Josh
15. Actually - just read some of those reviews on harmony central. Yup - I wont be buying an ampeg combo anytime soon then! Im actually getting quite tempted at an Orange bass Tiny Terror and either 115 cab or a 210. It's not a combo, but seems not bad for the buck! With it having a digital power section, is that a bad thing or a good thing I wonder?
I saw the review for the Ampeg BA600 210 in some bass mag recently. It said it was pretty good - but you gotta dig the ampeg tone or it aint for you. Not sure about the 115.

I don't think the Ampeg BA600 with either the 210 or 115 has had very good reviews.
17. I think I would sell my Warwick head and put to it...so maybe £600/£700? Not sure yet.
Shuttle 6.0-210T Combo? whats your budget?
18. Hey troops, I'm in the market for a bass combo for some gigs with my band. Im currently lugging around a Warwick 5.1 Tubepath Head and 410 Cab. Ive been thinking about downscaling recently to maybe a 2x10 Bass combo i.e. Ampeg Ba600, Ashdown Klystron C210 We've been writing stuff recently which is crying out for a bit more grit, so that's something Im looking for. The warwick is a brilliant clean amp, but I need something a bit naughtier - without breaking the law of course. And something slightly more portable. Is there a combo amp out there which really does deliver on volume, superb tone and, to an extent, portablility? Would appreciate your input and advice. Cheers guys, Josh
 19. After a frustrating month or so - this is still for sale. Would be interested in a swap but not sure what!
 20.
No, it's not. I have one and even though I do like it, it doesn't give me the Ampeg sound that I'm after. For that, I think an Ampeg SVP-CL or SVP-Pro preamp would be ideal. The DI has only one valve and no kind of overdrive. It gives a nice, round, warm, clean sound - not the cranked Ampeg sound.
Thanks for your input chaps. I think I will get one eventually, hopefully grab 1 second hand at a good price!

 22.
so whats the opinion on MIJ jazz basses from this era? it seems like a really good price, though i really shouldn't be considering buying it, but it seems like a really good price. ahhhhh, lovely colour combo too, my personal favourite for a jazz. mmmmm tempted, i'm usually happy about being lefty to avoid GAS, but then it's so much worse when something does come up.
This is still up for grabs! £250 inc postage
 23. Hey, Just looking at people's opinions of the Ampeg SVT-DI. Interested to know if it can truly re-create the classic full rounded ampeg tone. I'm generally quite interested to know how ampeg make the tone like they do. Is it because of the amount of preamp valves and power amp valves? Circuitry? It's a shame it's discontinued - I would be interested in getting one in the nearby future! Saw one on ebay go recently at £170. Not bad! Anyway, let me your thoughts. Cheers! Josh
 24.
Knocked this price down to £180
Desperate for cash but possibly interested in swap. Knocked this down to £160.
