  14. Hope your audition goes well but as my old mate used to say "every time you audition for a band you should be auditioning them to see if YOU want to join after you've played together".
  15. Sending you a PM
  16. Bought a Shure beta 87 from Tom. Perfect smooth transaction. Microphone securely packaged and in unused condition. Great communication throughout. Top Basschatter. Cheers Tom!
  17. I feel and share your pain. I have started to develop Dupuytren's contracture in my right hand and was told that there wasn't much that could be done, except an operation on the hand when it became too restricting, I then broke my wrist in a bizarre gardening accident! (Usually happens to Spinal Trap drummers) and have lost the feeling in my left hand middle finger so no more Johny Cash poses! I struggle on with it but I do feel that I'll never feel the response from my hands when I'm playing that I felt before the accidents. An upside is whenever I make an absolute arse of any bassline I'm playing I can always play the "doing the best I can with MAJOR hand issues" card.
  18. Fantastic country song by Chuck Mead- BR 549/Raul Malo-The Mavericks featuring a monkey/chimpanzee in the video. Might not be the one you are after but a cracking tune ,regardless!
  19. Just received a Zoom multi-stomp pedal from Martin. Fantastic condition and well packaged. There was even a few of his settings still in the user slots so some great sounds ready for me to use stright away! Cheers Martin, Des
  20. I'm so sorry to hear this. It's strange that even though I have not met many of the Basschatters face to face I always seem to feel I am already mates with so many of them. My condolences to all friends and family of Old Horse Murphy.
  21. I'm absolutely gutted that I couldn't attend the meet up. The shift in date really did it for me. I had an important gig on the night before and, being of a certain vintage, once I had self-taxied all my relatives home from the venue, it was dark o'clock before I managed to get home. The drive to the meet-up was just too much to be done safely , I'm still on "after gig" euphoria lag time which is why I'm posting this at stupid o'clock! I loved all the postings and photos of basses ,amps, and effects that folks brought along and hopefully I will be able to get to the next one. Well done to Rob (rwillett) for all the efforts in making a great event for everyone!
  22. Have just bought a Fender Engine Room power supply from Ian. The whole process from start to finnish was excellent. The item was in mint condition as described and packaged to a "bomb proof" standard. Ian kept me up to date with every step including postage arrangements. I would gladly buy from him again. Cheers Ian!
  23. Hi there. I'll take this if it's still available. Let me know and I'll transfer you the cash. Cheers, Des
