when I wrote to Stick Enterprise to enquire, they told me it was a 1979 Ironwood model, serial #565. Ironwood sounds right, but I'm not sure about the date, since it has some features that only arrived by the early 90s: Fret Rods, fully-adjustable bridge, "Just-A-Nut" that allows switching to 7+5 mode. It may have been upgraded at some point. I can't see any signs of work, though which must mean that if it was upgraded, it was done properly by Stick Enterprises.
Definitely not an upgrade as the headstock is curved - earlier ones were more angular. When the new features you mention were introduced (in October 1989) they started the serial numbers from 001 again - mine is #614 so I would say yours dates from the early 90's. Good luck with the sale - I second Dills' suggestion to post it on www.stickist.com too and add that I'd be very keen myself were it not the same specs as my current Stick - sounds like someone will grab an absolute bargain as you could ask almost twice your staring price.

Does anyone in or around London have a Thunderfunk that they could let me hear? These amps have made it on to my shortlist without me ever trying one out... Very tempted by the new 750A, from what I've read it could replace my CA9... Thanks, Steve
oh oops I didn't know thats what the 35 stood for, sorry. Actually, I'm a bit confused, there is a GWB1005 and a GWB35, both 34", one a lot more expensive than the other.
I'll jump in before Luke does - it's the GWB35. All the Willis basses are 34" scale length.

To Epifani UL310 users, past and present
Steve Woodcock replied to chardbass's topic in Amps and Cabs
At the moment I use a Crest CA9 to power mine which puts out 900 watts a side in to 4 ohms (2k bridged) so I'm never short of headroom, however I'm looking at going for something lighter... -
Epifani UL502 - Sold subject to collection etc.
Have you heard his early stuff with Wayne Johnson? Stunning.
No, I'll have to check it out - any album titles you can throw at me? Most of the stuff I have him on is with Holdsworth...

Anyone else here going to see Jimmy Johnson on Monday 26th November? He's playing with Allan Holdsworth at the Jazz Cafe - I've been waiting years to see that line-up...

They come up on ebay over here occasionally but be prepared to pay a lot - because of the waiting list for new Sticks used ones are holding their value (much more now it seems than in previous years). It's worth keeping an eye on the For Sale section on Stickist.com.
If anyone is familiar with the band suffocation, and their first album Effigy of the Forgotten, the bass is bloody brilliant. By a guy named John Barohn.. but after first album he disappeared.. anyone know anything about him.
It's actually JOSH Barohn - he left Suffocation and joined Autopsy, playing on their '92 album 'Acts Of The Unspeakable'. Don't know what happened to him after that... He was supposed to be back in the reformed Suffocation (which Chris Richards - his former replacement - wasn't too happy about at the time) but I believe he had some 'problems' and they got Derek Boyer instead.
