...... but at the gig yesterday the sound engineer was knocked off the wifi from laptop to pa due to the Xvive and had to reboot her system - 😳 So I had to use a gtr lead 😉

Hi , gigged the Xvive twice last weekend , second gig had wifi in and all went well. Scares the band when I start moving around 😜🤣

Thanks , I checked with Euphonic and they recommend the 4ohm Whizzy M Line. Im chatting to Bass Direct who can import the M-Line , other options they suggest are a Vanderkley or a Eich - any opinions on these three ? Hi - we can order you in a Vanderkley MNT112 in 4Ω - your cost is £675 http://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/MNT112.html We can also order cabinets from Eich in 4Ω like the XS112 - http://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Eich_112XS.html The £699 includes VAT.

Hello , just tried out my new Xvive U2 transmitter/receiver in practice - excellent and I moved across the room to get the sound of the full band and find my happy place 😁The kit is small and the jacks have a hinge to the unit so you can keep them folded out of the way. Downside is that the instructions are hopeless and tiny font - and I had reset the transmitter to a different channel by mistake ( there are four in case the guitarist etc happen to have one and you would be on the same channel ) - but top marks to Wildwire Guitars who replied to my email at 6.30pm - 45 minutes after I sent it.

Hello, I tried Bassbags but they are reorganising and couldn't reply , so bought from Gear4Music - a Westbury 4/4 at around £127- thanks Henry. It came from Germany so took a bit longer ( note if using UPS make an sure that you get the details/ dates right first time as they are " computer sez no" 😫) I'm hoping PDSA animal charity eBay team will pick up the hard shell case.

Thanks Henry, is all learning at the moment 😁

Hello again, I'm measuring my bass - which I see as a 3/4 and comes in at 190cm from collapsed end pin to top of scroll and looking online that comes in as soft case size 4/4 ? Any help on sizing for soft cases appreciated . ta

Thanks all of you for the helpful answers , looks like Bassbags/Westbury are getting good press , thanks again.

Yeah, I have the same issue with the E not voicing as well as the other three - advice from tutor was that every bass has something and I just need to pluck it harder to sound better. Maybe I will change the strings and see what happens .
