Orange OBC410 in full working order but in 'toured' condition with various scuffs and marks to the telex and grill. So damage that will affect the sound of the cab. I gigged with this for 2 years but it has sat not being used since the pandemic hit. Selling to change to something lighter. More pictures available on request. Obviously due to size and weight I won't be posting this so collection only from WS4 area once allowed. Price reduced to £275 but will consider offers. No trades thanks. -
I have an Orange OBC410 which weighs in at around 45kg according to online searches. I love the cab but my back doesn't appreciate the lifting, it has to be kept upstairs at home. Would swapping out the speakers for neo speakers be worth while in reducing weight? I understand the cab is built from pretty heavy duty ply which contributes to the weight but the speakers alone are around 12kg.

No proper rehearsals or gigs yet obviously but I got the chance to turn up in the garage yesterday and it was plenty loud enough into an 8 ohm orange 410. The sumo is transparent and didnt colour the tone from the helix. Pretty faithful to the cab sim signal from the DI to my monitors.

Hi, does anyone know the lid depth of the gator g tour series pedalboards? Or the maximum height anything can be on the board to comfortably fit the lid on?

Thanks all for your suggestions. I ended up getting a baby sumo. I got around the lack of EQ by adding 2 amps in the helix where the signal splits for cab/no cab giving me a consistent EQ to FOH and an adjustable one for the cab or room.

All of my tone these days is from my drive pedals into a HX stomp to from of house. I do still like to have a cab running on stage. As monitoring is nearly always poor. A powered FRFR is not an option due to A) budget and B) we're often sharing backline so may be my own cab, other shows it may be a headliners cab. I'd love to cut down on the gear I carry and just need my pedalboard. I looked into the seymour duncan powerstage 200 as a board mounted solution but I fear 200 watts (just over 100 into my 8 ohm cab) just won't be enough to keep up with a hard hitting drummer and guitarist, sometimes in venues where only vocals are FOH. The 700 watt version seems ideal but isn't pedalboard mountable really. The quilter bass blocks I've seen on pedalboards also seem too big for my pedaltrain junior plus always seem 'bodged'. I'd prefer to not have to swap my pedalboard. Any other options I've missed that are board mountable and have enough output?

Hey, Yes I've only got the headphones output o can test right now. I'm hoping to pick my cap up soon. The suite says I have the latest firmware. I forgot to add I'd tried no cab sim and loaded others to try incase maybe the IR loaded had gone bad.

Hi guys, I've been running the Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 (Limited edition if that matters?) for a while now and gigged and rehearsed with no problems. Yesterday I turned it on and it had developed what I can only describe as a constant 'static' noise, even when playing you can hear this in the background. I initially thought it was a cabling issue on a new pedalboard setup but it's there when plugged direct. I was playing through headphones so suspected those. They tested fine with another device so ruled that out. I don't have an interface to test the DI out and I haven't had an opportunity to test it with a cab as that's at our guitarist's house right now. I'm using the usual power socket I use, tried direct instead of with an extension, tried a different socket but it's still there so I don't think it's bad power all of a sudden. No inverters, neon lights etc that could be giving off interference. It's usually pretty silent even with drive in venues I know have terrible stage power that causes our guitarist's amp to crap out. Has anyone experienced this?

Music for me is a hobby which sometimes covers it's costs, sometimes gives me a little spending money. Fortunately my main full time job has not being affected by COVID so at least it hasn't been a financial burden with live music effectively being cancelled lately. For me, meeting with my band, playing shows and sometimes seeing our music being appreciated by others willing to part with money to watch us play, buy our music, buy our merch was still valuable as an emotional release and an escape from the daily grind at work and struggles with mental illness. Thats the part I miss the most right now, it's all just reality, my childhood rock star fantasy is on hold. Anyone who also relies on their music as a main source of income has my sincere sympathy, I can only imagine how it would be if i'd been relying on it financially too.

Has anyone got experience with the Enki dual bass cases? I'm currently using the Mono dual case but these seem much more protective for throwing into the back of a van or flying on occasion. How is the weight when loaded? Thanks for confirming! I figured there wouldn't be an issue but it's an expensive amp to break if there was some strange way their loop worked or something.

I have a microtubes 900 V2 head, when my band meets for rehearsals at our local place some rooms have a head and cab for bass so I can use my own head, but other rooms have a peavey combo which I can't get on with and can't get my regular tone without the DG head adding some drive. The same for a few support shows we've played with shared backline where the headliner has brought a combo. If I'm confronted with this, what's stopping me from taking the FX send from my head into the return of the other amp, effectively using my preamp into their power amp? I regularly use my head for silent practice just using headphones or the DI with no cab so there's no issue with there not being a load on the darkglass power amp. Can anyone confirm this is ok to do? I'm also assuming the send and return of my amp is post preamp and microtubes?

Hey, has anyone tried using the Benson Preamp to add some tube growl. I'm wondering if this will be a decent always on pedal Infront of my amp. Just concerned about bass cut or muddiness.

Does anybody know if the send/return on a MT900v2 is midi switchable or is it always in the circuit. I was hoping to move to MIDI control and switch a drive pedal in the loop without an additional MIDI loop switcher which would be overkill for one pedal. I checked out the darkglass suite midi section but only see the channel, compressor, mute and cab sim options. There's one called 'bypass' but I think this is to bypass the cab sim?
