I reckon a good clean and a re finish in gloss black and you got a nice little custom

Well I'd go for the fender aerodyne myself, they're top basses and better than the MIM actives, they're nice and light and they sound the business, plus no batteries to worry about, true passive fender tone. They have p and j combination pups so they're versatile too.

There is a nice cheap vester fretless up on the bay at the moment, they show up on there from time to time, one went on there not so long ago for about £150, they look smart and the build looks like a quality job, maybe worth putting in a bid?
