1.
Today I gave my money to the shop-Assistant for GSR one... What the funk have I done?
A GSR should be fine as a backup bass. One of my pupils, Fiona has the lowly GSR190 (or was that GSR180??) in bright red, with P&J pickups. It's a storming bass for the money. A good choice, methinks
2. I don't know who's making the new Fender High Mass bridge for the new American Standards, etc., but the angled holes in the bottom look identical to the bridges Roger Sadowsky uses for his basses. If you're looking for a direct replacement for your 2002 model MIA, if it has "through body stringing" holes & three screw fixings, you'll need a Badass III, but if it's top stringing only & 5 screw fixings, you'll need a larger Badass II. One thing to remember is that Fenders with through body stringing have a totally different [more full bodied] sound compared with the top strung ones. In this case a bigger bridge doesn't make a huge amount of difference. It's only if you don't have the through body option where a higher mass bridge like a Badass makes a big difference in terms of sustain, attack & clarity. Rich.

15. Hi Steevo! Welcome to the forums
16. I love that Toby Pro 4. Just one thing, though... Why did you stick that horrible pick holder to the front? Won't the glue mark the finish?
17. I almost bought a 2004 Roadie last year but stopped myself for some reason. Never found one that fitted me, though. Lovely looking basses you have there
18. Hmmm... Love the body colour, but the neck is a little too much for me. But hey, it's a GB! Let's celebrate another fantastic bit of British workmanship. Nice
19. That's really nice! Never seen a white one before
20. Lovely looking bass you have there! I'd leave the black pearl guard on. It looks really cool Are you going to put a standard MM pickup back in it, then?
21. Lovely job, but why, oh why the flower power and the dice??
22. Definitely is bargain of the month, that one! Well done
23. Not being a Clash fan, I had to look up who he was on Google! But that Precision has certainly seen some serious action & a lot of it!
24. I played the original ATK back in the late 80's/early 90's & they're really good basses. More recently played one at electro & the only thing to better it in terms of playability & sound was the Marcus Miller I ended up buying. Quite simply amazing basses for the money!
25. Will have to drop in and try some of your collection at some point, Nick! Your place sounds like the ultimate toyshop!
