1. Bugger missed out on the fretless Wal! Good luck wih the others mate, sorry to hear about the sad loss...
2. Apparently I have upset some people on here, and should have stated this bass was once an Ex Demo, apologies for anyone 'dupped' - personally I didn't state it as frankly I am not sure what the difference is between second third or fourth hand as most basses are on here and straight from the shop as an ex-display model. So for those people it is an ex demo. To confirm there are no marks on it and its in fantastic condition (anyone interested is more than welcome to come see) I have bought and sold basses on here for yonks and have positive feedback from many on here and would never knowingly con anyone, I am starting to feel this forum is going to the dogs!
3.
Is this one of the ex demos MD music were selling recently in the Affiliates section?
Dave, No idea about the affiliates section, I got it directly from the shop MB music.
4. Pm Replied to ;-)
5. Mate, my heart goes out to you, been there myself and its very tough but there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, just look at your wee one and you'll know what is important in life! You'll soon be back on your feet! Good luck, and if my Ray goes quick I have my eye on that Fretless P...
6. Fellow BCer's After much thought I have decided that one of my 'dream-list' basses has to make way for a bass higher up the dream list ;-) Took me years to track one of these down but after a couple of weeks I have realised that its a High Quality Fretless I am really after, trying to cut back on the amount I have so one in one out rule applies. 2006 Musicman Limited Edition Black and Gold Stingray Comes with its own Hardcase in fetching green fur lined. No marks or blemishes and no wear to neck at all. Trade wise in preference: Pedulla Buzz Fretless x4 Stringer, Fender P Fretless x4, Stingray Fretless x4 and if anyone is feeling really generous Wal or Fedora Fretless. Would prefer lined but unlined considered also 4 stringer. Sale Price is a straight £1200 that includes fully insured shipping costs. I will only ship within UK & Ireland unless you want to meet up for a trade/sale. Steve. Ps. There are some pics on previous advert but once I can find the digi cams USB cable I will post some high quality ones!
7. Need to have a good think on this, might now sell. I shall pull this ad and put a new one up if I sell, once I have had a think over the weekend. Pedulla trades still welcome.
8. Stuart Zender was Jamiroquai for me, he left and the bass lines took a back seat to Kays ego, anyone read Zenders article in Bass Magazine earlier this year? Quite the eye opener.
9.
Thats a pity, its a nice looking 'ray. But on the positive side and least you know what you like
Pedulla's are a little rare sadly!
10.
That was a very short lived dream bass?
I don't particularly want to sell her but I guess I am a fretless guy at heart.
11.
If I had a 1/4" girth widger I'd have full on penetrative with this bass.
;-)
12. Folks, I have a 2006 Limited Edition Musicman Stingray in Black and Gold, no blemishes or marks of any kind. I have a serious gassing for a Pedulla Pentabuzz Fretless, preferably in Green or Blue. Other potential trades would need to be of a similar high end/priced instrument lined and fretless. UPDATE: People have asked about selling her, not really interested unless you wish to pay the price of a new Pedulla! ;-) Now going on Bay
13. Anyone catch Simply Red last night on ITV? Was wondering if anyone could confirm the bassist was playing a 50th Aniversary Fender Jazz? Lovely sounds... How could Hucknall call the band Simply Red as he was the only original member playing...?
14. They have had these for a while, not sure how many they actually have in stock mind. They are super basses mind!
15. Sadowsky for me.
16. Some of John Entwhistle's basses sold for just a grand or two and this is £25k!? I know whose basses should be worth more - the full time bass player!
17. Pics of my new 2006 limited edition black and gold to follow..... Yum!!!!!!
18. Read an article that these late 90's Fender P Deluxes are a little special, anyone got one as they seem a bit rare. They have a humbucker on as opposed to the Jazz config.
19. They are indeed.....
Wow! first MM I've ever really liked...Very nice! Is it just me and my dodgey eyes, or are the pole pieces gold too?
20. For that money Id look at Sadowsky P basses, I think Sadowsky are the best builder these days. Might have to add a couple of hundred though. Saw one played in Glasgow against an American Fender deluxe and the Sad blew it away for tonal range.
21. Always loved the black and gold finish, takes me back to watching Henry Thomas on Rockschool back in the day with his Yamaha BB5000 in black and gold. Oh well thats the gass gone for a while..... unless theres a US Deluxe P out there...;-)
