  1. Decided to take her off the market for a while until the Market picks up a little, so might be a few years! Thanks for the lovely comments and offers. Steve.
  2. Sadly she has to go, have an opportunity to purchase a fretless Stingray, so price dropped to £1,950
  3. I have considered picking up a fretted and having her defretted, but not brave enough to do it myself, if I can’t pick one up soonish I might start looking at reputable luthiers to do this for me.
  4. Musicman fretless are really highly thought of, Pino can’t be wrong. Why so few built?
  5. I have a hankering for a fretless Stingray, but having searched for several months they appear as rare as hens teeth. Compared to say Fender or other brands they really seem to release very low numbers to market, is it me or can anyone enlighten me as to why they seem so rare. Cheers, Steve.
  6. For sale Rickenbacker 4003 bass 2018 in immaculate condition, no noticeable marks or scratches. Comes with original hard case and certificate. Not particularly interested in trades, unless you want a straight exchange with your Wal 😆 UK sale only, happy to courier at your expense. £1,950 Cheers, Steve.
  7. I keep coming back to have a look… beautiful.
  8. Hi All, I have an old black Aria bass that has a fair bit of battle damage, chips and scratches and I have been thinking about having her refinished in the original black, but from my initial research it’s a very expensive process and have also read a few horror stories, can anyone recommend a reputable refinish company? Cheers, Steve.
  9. It is indeed, and I have mailed them. 😉
  10. So, you have your dream bass in mind, in your dream finish, you wait for a long, long time for it to appear for sale. You decide eventually that it’s just not going to happen, so you pull the trigger on the dream bass, but not in the finish you are after, then two weeks later your dream bass, in the dream finish appears for sale!!!??? I have just bought a Rickenbacker 4003 in ruby red, less than a fortnight later, my dream finish ‘blue boy’ appears. I had been looking for one for years, so having given up my chances of one appearing, I pulled the trigger on a lovely ruby red finish. Arghh! Pretty sure others have a similar tale to tell. P.S I am very happy with the ruby red 😉 Steve.
  11. Love the Tobias basses.
  12. Now that’s very nice and local, glwts.
  13. If it’s good enough for Mark Egan.. 😉
  14. My old baby! Broke my heart parting with her, the best fretless out there for me. Chris is a top bloke and a dream to deal with, buy with confidence and the Pedulla practically plays itself, well nearly.
  15. Very nice, lovely finish. GLWTS
  16. Fabulous bass, surprised not snatched up. GLWTS

  20. Pino”s playing on Paul Youngs No Parlez album, just brilliant. John Entwhistle on the Who’s Next album Derek Forbes work particularly on the Sons and fascination\Sister Feelings Call album and Mick Karn on the 1979 release Quiet Life and the 81 Tin Drum album.
