1.
since my drummer hopeless at holding a steady beat.
I'm really sorry to hear that!!
2. No, he's not in any way the best, but has undeniably been an inspiration to lots of young rock players and may have helped them expand their musical horizons, thereby realising for themselves that he's not the best.
3.
It would be great for a Motley Crue tribute band IMO!
Why? Does it go upside down? Have a bump on me.
4.
Oh yeah.... My Modulus is now in the caperble hands of Rowbee!!! Down to just the Fretless P and this wonderful Shuker
...and in my capable hands it is likely to stay for some time. I am totally in love with it and hopefully now my bass rotation is at an end! First Flea Bass gig tomorrow night.
5. Have you gigged it yet? How does it sound? Looks nice and maneuverable.
6. Man, that 28" bass drum is obscene! I'll bet you could get some awesome Stanton Moore sounds from this kit. Bassists should be encouraging their drummers to buy this - Good luck with the sale.
7. Wow, that is just breathtaking! I agree with you that Mark is a great guy and having met him, I would say his enthusiasm is infectious. It was thanks to him that we had the recent Doug Wimbish and Wil Calhoun gig in Leamington Spa.
8. If I'm not setting up my SA450 with one of my Aguilar GS112 cabs I tend to just plug into my Trace Elliot Boxer 15 which I picked up from Ebay for about a tenner! Sounds great, plenty of warmth and bottom end - until I go through the aforementioned rig and hear how I really should be sounding. I also used to have an SWR Workingmans 12 which was great for home practice but also good enough for a lot of small to medium sized practices and gigs.
9. Mark bought my Musicman LE 2008 Sterling and was very prompt with payment with what was a smooth transaction. It's my first experience of instrument postage and I'm glad it all worked out nicely.
10. Great unit, great price!
11. It is indeed a great amp and I'm sure the cabs would be snapped up if they were up for sale. Are you going to give us a clue as to what you're looking to replace it with, Peter?
12. I guess I didn't leave feedback for my transaction with Roger. When I sold him my EA iAmp 500 last year it was the first deal I'd done on BC and he's a really nice guy to deal with, very knowledgable too and he even bought me a coffee!
13.
OK will defo fit what I want, just seeing if anyone I know is near Coventry soon, else I'll just pay shipping.
No worries, just let me know - would probably be willing to travel a little if it helps.
14. That sucks, I'm sorry to hear this. As Hamster said, I'm sure people will now be alerted.
15. Wow! I didn't see this one coming!
16. Damn, I was hoping this was going to stick around until after payday. Well done on the sale.
17.
MB1. P.Md
And replied.
18.
If I paid the shipping costs would you post it?
I guess so but I have no idea how much shipping would cost?
19.
BUMP! I'll take trades on this, musically related or not if I can make use of it in any way! Preparing for obscure posts...
I always forget about this as it's become like a piece of furniture! Open to trades but if someone wants to offer me cash, I'll pass half of that onto Bass Chat.
20. This is a brand new, still in wrapper, MEDIUM Ashdown VU Meter t-shirt. I don't really wear t-shirts (apart from in my Avatar!!) so I have no need for it whatsoever. They are £15 posted on the Ashdown website, so if someone would like to make me an offer of cash or some kind of interesting trade they would be more than welcome to it. 21.
Lovely!
I won't comment on Fieldy but the bass does look very nice indeed. Welcome to the forum and good luck with the sale.

Just come back from Doncaster to pick up my Modulus Flea from Chris. He's a really nice, honest guy - it's a stunning bass and hopefully I'll hang onto this one a lot longer than some of my recent acquisitions.
23.
Just had Rob over to pick up my Flea bass. No fuss or hassle. Fast payment, good comms, Top bloke to deal with. Hope you enjoy your new bass mate!! Thanks again. Chris
Chris, it's an amazing bass, thanks so much.
24. That's beautiful - the grain is really eye catching and the matching headstock really works.
25. Yes, welcome to the forum - I started out on drums too and I found it was great training for the instrument that was my true destiny.
