1.
+10000000000000000000 I don't intend to stop playing/gigging until they screw the lid down. Even then, I shall be pestering Keith Moon and Jimi Hendrix for a jam.
Yep, I could never be a bedroom player and I don't get anywhere near as much of a buzz in the rehearsal room as I do on stage. Maybe if I invited dancers along to band practices that might work.
2. I'll reply anyway. I had an IGB60 as my first proper bass and it was an excellent starter instrument that I occasionally pine for.

4.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rob! Aaaarrrrgggghh - the rack mount brackets are still in my desk! You know, I've been trying to get that damn Sterling Ltd Ed of yours out of my mind but I think I'm in love! Anyway, enough of this yacking, I've got an amp to sell...
Lol, it's sold now, so you can take your foot off the GAS. Good luck with the sale, it's clearly a great combo and won't be around for long!
5. Having bought my Markbass head from him, I'd just like to add that Mark is one of the nicest guys I've ever met through BC and you can do a deal with him with 100% confidence. A mutual love of football will also ensure a couple of extra hours of conversation!
6. Now sold, thanks for the interest folks. I knew something was going to happen today. Yay
7. Keep the PM's coming, I feel that there's a deal to be done today.
8. If someone would buy my Sterling I'd probably still be interested in buying this!
9. All PMs replied to, still for sale or trade. Would entertain reasonable financial offers as I am very keen to free up some cash to buy the Flea Bass for sale here. Someone could get a very special Sterling at a very good price.
10.
I'm not the biggest fan of Warwick but yours is TRULY amazing. Best luck with the sale mate.
AGREED!!!!
11.
If this was a 5 string id bite your hand off
In which case, being one handed, I probably wouldn't be looking for trades!
12.
do you ever randomly just go out to the pub to see a band you've never heard of and have nothing to do with? most people don't, therefore if you don't bring anyone along to watch you, you won't have an audience.
I'd probably check out their myspace before making a commitment to see an originals band.
13. I've been playing in covers bands since my mid-twenties, mostly because we can get gigs in better venues and generally the audience reaction is better. In that I mean I do it because I want people dancing and in my experience, people generally react better to songs they know. I have nothing but respect for members of originals bands, maybe I'm just too lazy to go through the hardship.
14. To expand on my comments last night, it's potentially for trade with money going either way depending on the valuation of the other instrument. As much as I love my Sterlings I'm still looking for something a bit different and I still have my pearl blue beauty!
15.
Final bump for a price drop before withdrawal - thanks for all the interest so far, the price is an asbolute bargain.
Having gigged tonight I realised that I want something a little bit different so I'm not going to withdraw this just yet. What I will do though, is throw it open to trades too. Not sure yet what I'm looking for but what I'm not looking for is vintage or passive instruments. Thanks Rob
16. Wow, very pretty. Good luck with the sale.
17. I think £600 is a really good price so don't worry. I think the market is a little slow at the moment and a lot of quality instruments have popped up here in recent weeks.

The Gig Is On
Nearly Dan, UK Steely Dan tribute band, are playing at the Leamington Assembly, Spencer Street, Leamington Spa, CV13 3NF this Thursday 30 July at 7pm. www.leamingtonassembly.com [email protected] Tel: 01926 523001
Damn! That was tonight!
19. I would start with James Brown - especially Bootsy era like Superbad and Sex Machine, plenty of room for improv.

SOLD

I like the look of that tortoise shell pickguard over the candy apple red body - sweet.
21. Final bump for a price drop before withdrawal - thanks for all the interest so far, the price is an asbolute bargain.
22. Great, bubbling funk line - I love it.
23. I have one and it's a great pedal if used subtly and sensibly, although sometimes some out and out whacky distortion can sound cool too.
24.
is this price a bit steep?
Which model is it? The XO or the older, bigger version?
25.
+1 Just listen to my mate make Indie drumming interesting:
I always prefer nice, well tuned. small toms like his because they sound more musical and less tub thumpy.
