I really didn't know whether or not I should raise this thread, especially when I'm selling an EVO II myself but I contacted the seller to let them know and give them a chance to amend it and they have not changed their listing. The listing name says "Ashdown ABM 500 Bass Amp Head Used" but the description goes on to name and describe it as an EVO III when the picture is clearly not that model and the description refers to the on-board compressor which is not part of the EVO II. I doubt anyone will buy it as it has a pretty high Buy It Now price of £449 plus £10 postage for a used model but I thought I should make forumites aware. Just received my Gator 2u rack case from Steve which was posted very, very quickly and was EXPERTLY packaged. He's a great, genuine guy who took me on my word - I would definitely deal with him again and recommend him to all forum users as a someone very trustworthy.

Depotx is great and Steve the guy who runs it is a really nice guy - it's just by Exeter St. Davids. You have to register with the website and it's all online booking. Dan Sorry to butt in - There are two I'm aware of and the best one for absolutely definite is Depotx, the other was in farmland not far off J31 of the M5. I'm sure you know of these already though. Rob

Couldn't find a more recent thread... Just picked up an iAmp 800 from Anthomp who went out of his way to meet me some of the distance and is so confident the item is fine he has even offered to refund me if the amp develops a fault within two months. All seems good to me and I'm currently very happy with it so I recommend Anthomp for being a top seller.

Nothing wrong with what he was doing in my opinion. I don't think dancing around like Flea would have enhanced the performance.

Personal feelings from Lowdown aside, I have to agree that he played bass well, held it together and did his job as a bassist in 99.9% of gigging situations so I can't fault the guy. If he wanted to demonstrate how flamboyantly charismatic he was, he'd be playing g****r.
