Nice one. I play acoustic guitar (extremely badly) nowhere near the level where I feel like I could carry a gig. I always struggled with the bar chords. They're proper F ing B s. Open chords I'm fine with. I just can't change quickly enough to the claw shape. So my guitar journey kind of stalled there. I do occasionally still like to pick it up and have a strum though, and I write most of my songs on guitar, then give them to our proper guitarist for refinement. My wife is also a singer, so it's something I aspire to do one day.

As with most music, Kate Bush totally passed me by at the time. I somehow got my hands on a greatest hits album round about 2000, and it totally blew me away. There's not many artists I would consider to be truly unique. I'd never heard anything like it.

I'm not really one to judge. For me the mid 80's to mid 90's were all about heavy metal and rock. If it wasn't a bunch of long haired blokes dresses in black, I probably wasn't interested. For the most part, with a few notable exceptions, I still feel the same way.

In all honesty, I can remember owning and listening to Simply Red's Stars album back in the day. But I've never owned or listened to an Oasis album. Hearing their nasal whining on the radio was enough.

For me Oasis is where music went to die. 😆

I'd put it in eBay, then buy something that isn't a Fender, in a natural finish. Or at the very most, a light colour wash. If I can't see the grain, I ain't interested.

I have no idea what "grok" is, but I'm assuming it means understand. I'd happily spend all my time in a room with my mates creating and playing music just for the hell of it. That's where I'm happiest. I hate people, and I have no desire to be a performing monkey for the great unwashed. To me, it's all about the creativity. I honestly couldn't care less if I never performed in front of a crowd. Most of them couldn't care less anyway.

No. I have the M (MOSFET version). Although they're so good, at some point when finances allow, I'm going to buy the tube version as well.

I have the Bugera Veyron, which is probably the cheapest 'powerful' class D on the market. Press the low boost, and high boost buttons, dial in a little bit of the built in compressor, get the mids where you want them, leave everything else around 12 o'clock, and the thing sounds absolutely sublime!

Never heard of them, but that looks quite nice.

The biggest problem with this for me, is it comes in at around the same price as the Burgera Veyron, which is an absolute monster! Given a choice between that and this, I'd take the Veyron every time.
