I recently changed all my gear to lightweight stuff, and at the same time put up for sale a 2x12 vox guitar amp that weighs about a thousand pounds because I never wanted to hump heavy stuff around again. The guitarist in my band bought it and it takes two people to carry. So that didn't work out as expected.

Not offended. Just really bored with the whining that seems so prevalent in today's society. To be honest I'm not surprised you quoted me, and I normally wouldn't respond. You really are the walking embodiment of the playing chess with a pigeon analogy. I've never met anyone quite so keen on the clickety clack of their own little keyboard.

I come from a small mining village. Only famous people I know of are some bloke who used to be on The Bill, and a guy on an Australian gold mining program who left the village when he was about six. As far as I know, neither of them can sing or play an instrument.

Looks like most of the work has been done to be fair. Just remove the neck and it's fully ready for the fire.

I'm no expert. My PC was anyway pretty high spec so I didn't really need to look into it. I would say you're correct about ram. The more the better. I don't think a soundcard really matters because your audio interface would bypass it anyway.

I'm fine with anything without a tweeter or with a tweeter can be switched off. Anything with a permanently on tweeter is a definite no from me.

Custard creams are definitely my favourite with a nice cup of tea.

That's how my gear purchasing always works. I play a similar version of the game called poverty, where I can't afford to buy anything unless I sell something first.

I'm assuming this has been corrected as it's on at £500 now. Zero feedback seller though. So I'd still be wary.

Having given that a quick play, I'd rather listen to an actual meatloaf.

To be fair, I like pretty much anything withing the rock genre. I just can't stand the constant re- naming and pigeon holing, which is more what I was poking fun at than the actual music. It seems people have to come up with ever more ludicrous names and sub genres to play power chords.

Me and the wife usually have a party for two, which sadly isn't as dirty as it sounds. We stay in. Stick on some tunes, and crack open some booze. Usually by about 10 o'clock we're hammering the karaoke with mixed results. Mixed because she's a singer, and there's a very good reason I'm a bass player. We usually find new years has been and gone before we get around to checking. Being a proper, miserable to the bones, old sh@t, I can't imagine anything worse than going out on New year's Eve. Edit. Sorry, yeah I can. The only thing I can think of worse than being out drinking for new years, is being out gigging for new years.
