The closest I ever got was one of the fifteen thousand or so claimed to be member of The Drifters got up and walked out half way through our set at a charity gig. Which henceforth gave birth to our pre gig team cheer "F##K THE DRIFTERS!".

Have you looked at Tidal? I've been using it for the past couple of years or so and it P's all over Spotify for content and sound quality.

He's an absolute monster of a player, absolutely no doubt about it, and this kind of thing is great as an exhibition piece to show off his chops. But more than a few minutes of it would get tedious rather quickly. Despite how good he is. I think he's totally aware of this and uses these kinds of video appropriately as a showcase. He's an amazingly talented musician.

Nah. Life's too short. I was a bouncer for a good few years back in the day and well and truly had my fill of this kind of sh@t. It's one of the reasons I don't enjoy gigging, or even socialising in a strange place. I've seen so much shit happen in pubs and bars that I just can't relax around drunks. Unless I'm one of them, which is not conducive to gigging. Thankfully it's not as much of an issue where I live now because there's just not the same drinking mentality. But I still struggle with anxiety and find it very difficult to relax on gigs.

Result! I've been tempted many times to order a Chickenbacker, but Ali Express anxiety aside, the import process here in Bulgaria can be an absolute nightmare and it's just not worth the hassle.

Nice buy. They're superb little things those Junior Jets. Great build quality for the price. I had one for a while but just couldn't get on with short scale. Otherwise I would have kept it.

I like it! 😆 Although I'm not sure my back would, and I can't see what possible use a twin neck bass would be. Surely it would make more sense for one of the necks to be a guitar?

There's a guy local to me who had a great band. Then he refused to work with anyone who isn't vegan. He's now a solo act with an acoustic guitar. True story.
