  1. He's an absolute monster of a player, absolutely no doubt about it, and this kind of thing is great as an exhibition piece to show off his chops. But more than a few minutes of it would get tedious rather quickly. Despite how good he is. I think he's totally aware of this and uses these kinds of video appropriately as a showcase. He's an amazingly talented musician.
  2. Ooh. A Fender I like the look of. A rare beast indeed. Very nice. 👌
  3. Just been watching a few sound comparisons of this on YouTube up against a Warwick and the Cort absolutely blew the Warwick out of the water. I've always said a Cort with any big name badge would be at least double the price. I wish I'd got the funds to buy. I'd be all over this.
  4. It's lovely when she wears a low cut top. But sometimes she wears a turtle neck and totally spoils it.
  5. Nah. Life's too short. I was a bouncer for a good few years back in the day and well and truly had my fill of this kind of sh@t. It's one of the reasons I don't enjoy gigging, or even socialising in a strange place. I've seen so much shit happen in pubs and bars that I just can't relax around drunks. Unless I'm one of them, which is not conducive to gigging. Thankfully it's not as much of an issue where I live now because there's just not the same drinking mentality. But I still struggle with anxiety and find it very difficult to relax on gigs.
  6. Result! I've been tempted many times to order a Chickenbacker, but Ali Express anxiety aside, the import process here in Bulgaria can be an absolute nightmare and it's just not worth the hassle.
  7. Nice buy. They're superb little things those Junior Jets. Great build quality for the price. I had one for a while but just couldn't get on with short scale. Otherwise I would have kept it.
  8. I like it! 😆 Although I'm not sure my back would, and I can't see what possible use a twin neck bass would be. Surely it would make more sense for one of the necks to be a guitar?
  9. There's a guy local to me who had a great band. Then he refused to work with anyone who isn't vegan. He's now a solo act with an acoustic guitar. True story.
  10. I'm intrigued by this. Apologies for the slight derailing of a for sale thread, but take it as a bump. As far as I was aware, Gotoh and Wilkinson are two very different companies. Wilkinson being a well respected, yet budget end brand, and Gotoh being considered higher end. This is the first time I've ever seen Wilkinson by Gotoh. It looks pretty decent but I can't find much information on Google. Anybody got any background on these?
  11. Nope. I have a grand total of two straps. Both black.
  12. Ah the joys of gigging. I went to the bar last night. Had a couple of beers. Got home. Watched a bit of telly. Only thing I had to carry was my wallet. You've got to absolutely love the gigging thing to put up with it. I never did.
  13. I received an offer. It's a bargain now!
  14. The shotgun's fine. But I would have walked the minute I saw the flying V.
  15. Same. Being in a band for me is, and always has been about hanging around with my mates. But then again I suppose it depends on your level. If your a professional paid musician then it's just a job and you get on with it. For me music is a hobby. I can't imagine anything worse than it just being a job and playing with relative strangers.
  16. Rockin' in the Free World. I played it once in my old covers band then jacked in because I didn't want to be associated with a band that would play such utter shite.
  17. Oh God! I thought he'd been quiet for a while.
  18. Basschat is coming pretty close to being dead to me. Almost every thread turns into a pointless bitch fest which has little or nothing to do with the original post. It's all getting rather tedious.
  19. I knew who the poster of this thread was without looking, as soon as I read the title.
  20. Very true. But love them or loathe them, along with easyJet I've never found a cheaper way to travel, and probably wouldn't be living here in Bulgaria if it weren't for the many cheap trips I've taken with them.
