They were also doing the 112's at the ridiculous price of 156 Euros (about £135) I grabbed one of the last ones and it arrived today. Can't go wrong at that price.

I'm not sure how much that's going to annoy me yet. I might even contact Ashdown and see if I can buy a replacement badge.

My new cab turned up today. It turns out I accidentally ordered the Evo1 the first time around (locally) but the second cab I ordered from Muzik Produktiv is the mk2. Although they're slightly different, luckily they're the same dimensions so stack nicely. Lightweight, powerful and look great (to my eye at least). Can't wait until Wednesday practice now to put them through their paces.

I've got the B-206SM. It weighs about the same as a church, but I love it! Really slim neck and super easy to play for a 6er.

Great stage setup. I bet that was a real buzz. I think I'd die of anxiety before I got within 40 yards of the stage.

Justyn Delbridge. It says so on his YouTube channel.

We've played one outdoor, small charity gig a couple of weeks ago. We've got a small private party this weekend, which I'm hosting in my barn, and a possible mini, outdoor festival in my garden in a couple of weeks time, which again I'm hosting, with another two local bands, if the local lockdown situation permits. That'll do me for now. Outdoor gigs and small private functions where I know who is in attendance and have some control over numbers. I've got no desire to play busy indoor bars full of the great unwashed. Although, to be fair. That was the case even before Covid.

Please help identifying these flats

Is it the Park Hill flats in Sheffield? -
I've got these. They're superb. Certainly nothing to complain about at the price. https://m.thomann.de/gb/behringer_b1031a.htm

Yup. Mostly this I think. Plus a large dose of brand snobbery. I love Behringer (along with Harley Benton) I couldn't afford to partake in my hobby as an extremely amateur musician without them. I've got loads of Behringer stuff, and despite the reputation, it's absolutely bullet proof.

Harley Benton new range basses - Marquess
Newfoundfreedom replied to Al Krow's topic in Bass Guitars
I'm still seriously tempted to try one of these when they come back in stock. A lightweight (16kg) 2x10 for under 120 quid. Ridiculous! https://www.thomann.de/intl/harley_benton_solidbass_210t.htm?i11l=en_GB%3ABG.EUR -
Harley Benton new range basses - Marquess

That seems like a hell of a bargain at that price. I can't see how you could go wrong. I've had a fair bit of HB stuff now, and I'm always surprised at how good it is. In fact, it's now my go to brand for most things. -
Yes. I think this is the mk1 Evo. It looks to have been changed on the mk2 (the op's above) I'll try it and see what it sounds like, but I'll probably have the tweeter switched off anyway. I'm not a fan of the top end twange. If I do use it and the grill is causing interference, I can always remove the bracing on that corner. It does seem to be a bit of a design flaw though.

Cool. The first of the two I ordered arrived today too. I'm looking forward to trying it tomorrow. The second one, from MP should be here in the next few days. 😁

Try the Bugera Veyron BV1001T. Ignore the name. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, and they're so cheap you wouldn't even need to sell the SVT first.

Badges! We don't need no stinking badges!

Yup. I'm in the same boat? Can I buy a power up? -
The bass player in my mates covers band has one. I was sitting outside the bar they were playing in on a recent warm night, with the patio doors open and the bass sounded great. Even from outside. It Easily kept up with the rest of the band, 2 loud guitarists and a drummer. I couldn't believe it when I went in and saw a small combo in the corner. Although I don't know why I'd be so surprised, as I myself have been using the Bugera Veyron for the past couple of years and the thing sounds like thunder. I can't imagine ever playing anywhere where I would need it above half volume.

Ah that sounds about right. 😏 Thanks

Yeah you also need something like 4000 hours watch time over a 12 month period. I don't think I'm ever in any danger of hitting that 😅 I just assumed that they wouldn't be putting ads on until / unless you were monetised first.
-
Hi all. I've been posting a few videos from rehearsals on our band's fairly recently created YouTube channel. We don't have many subscribers at this point, and obviously we're a million miles away from hitting the kind of targets we'd need for monetisation. But I've noticed, when I go to one of our videos on my phone, I sometimes get ads playing before the video starts. Are they allowed to do that? Obviously I'm not receiving any proceeds from advertising. I always thought they only put ads on the monetised channels.

Yup. I've come to the same conclusion. There were a couple of OK tracks on the greatest hits playlist I went through, but nothing I'd buy or go out of my way to listen to again. They just don't do it for me I'm afraid.
