  1. As would I. The 'fuzz circuit' surely wasn't factory original.
  2. So, I bought this book, 'White Bicycles', by Joe Boyd, about his time in UK in the '60s. In the photographic section there's a photo of then-bassist, Ashley Hutchings, sitting with an RM1999 (4001S). I'm curious about this, as I've never seen anyone from that period with an RM, except Waters, Entwistle, Squire, and Quaife. Is it possible that that's Roger's RM (I think PQ still has his. Correction: had), or were they by then regularly imported into UK?
  3. I wonder who made them? Steve Grindrod - who worked at Marshall - designed a hybrid guitar amp that was first produced under the Wharfedale marque, before being branded as 'Albion'.
  4. Nah, that was the Cody. The Custom had twin cutaway horns. I much preferred the Cody.
  5. Definitely a nod To the Ned Callan 'Custom' model, albeit with a mini-hum at the rear. Would like to see a Cody version. Vintage REVO Callan
  6. Could be an old Aria Cardinal that's been reworked.
  7. I did a quick search. On an ebay listing, the description states 'A heroin addict for more than ten years, he blew millions on drugs and booze and left behind him a trail of chaos and carnage. The human cost of this runs to six marriages, four divorces, a pair of estranged daughters and two dead ex-wives.' I need to buy this.
  8. Maybe this one's been highlighted recently? I can't recall. Wal Pro IIe
  9. Tuners look original and correct gear. Stripped and new decal. No shot of the guts, is a concern.
  10. My old boy had one for work, before he switched over to Volkswagen, This would have been around 1968. I remember the warmth. Vacuum wipers?? Wait...did that van have the centre seat? I remember a cowling.
  11. Have you ever heard of a company called Rickenbacker?
  12. Being around JD fans back in the day was demoralising at times. You felt some of them just wanted to 'rope', in modern parlance.
  13. I was a big Yes fan back in the day; still give their stuff a listen, now and again. But.....'Drama'. Unlistenable shyte.
  14. Yeh, I'm wondering about those holes. Looks like they could have been made for a plinth.
  15. These things are boat anchors.
  16. Nice one, Bassassin. Never heard of this brand, but have had a look, and sure enough..... First Far East copies I've seen with set necks.
