  1. I would guess so. It looks rather new, doesn't it?
  2. Paging @Bassassin I've never seen one of these before.
  3. I'm a sucker for a Jazz Bass. I was thinking about a Thumb I've seen but a '66 Jazz with Lollipops and a dot n bound neck looks like its gonna be the winner.
  4. I have a CS and a Jap '62, both with matching headstocks, that sit under the bed with their covers on!
  5. Yes, they came with my American FSR Daphne Blue Jazz, along with mutes, strap and a signal cable. Talkbass posts confirm covers included.
  6. What else do you think they've missed? The Tuners are PC, as is the F-plate and hootenanny button. The covers will probably comes with the outfit.
  7. Am thinking about it. It's just a pity they didn't do one in CAR.
  8. I always wanted one of them. I first saw one, for real, in a department store in Prague, when on holiday there with my folks in the mid '70s. They're Czech made but when the pop up they're seldom in a playable condition and often with parts missing/replaced.
  9. I'll never understand why Chinese copies have these thick bodies.
  10. Relisted a Squier Strat today and also decided to put it on FB marketplace, which I seldom use. Immediately I got a query from a guy in London. He's very keen to pay full price, despite asking my 'best price' Wanted me to post it today but I said can't, until mid-week. His page doesn't say much about him but I am getting the spidey-sense tingling. I have said I'd need his bank and name verified via my bank app but I'm still unsure. His keenness is most unlike most sales I've undertaken. Any advice?
  11. Like Steinbergers, they all seem to have migrated to Japan! Though I do understand that some of those Japanese sites actually don't have the product.
  12. Got the urge to have a neck-through, early '90s Thumb once again. Had a quick look on eBay and the prices of some of the second-hand obes - even the bolt-ons - are circa £2K.
  13. £14K for a 4001 with its horsie missing? Pff.... Probably became de-gaussed and lobbed away.
  14. I saw that one had been for sale here recently. Was unfamiliar with this model, so had a look. Found one for $100 !! 😆 Remington
  15. I'm pretty sure this was flagged up ages ago but Rose Morris website is still showing the article but it's actually Mike Oldfield! Bobby Sands Ned Callan
  16. There was one in the US a couple of years ago, They wanted $48K for it.
  17. Related, a vintage alnico speaker I bought off ebay was picked up by Evri (Hermes) and never entered transit; it's been sitting marked 'problem' for the past two weeks. Informed the seller yesterday that an 'item not received' ticket is going on the transaction as of now.
  18. Something even The Master wouldn't have the nerve to attempt!
  19. He can't have had this in this state for too long, for if its tuned to standard bass tuning, the bracing with not support that for along and the top will sink, if not collapse.
  20. It appears to be raising up the E string. Ahhhh..... I set it from that other angle now. Ground wire ot piezo?
