  1. Ahhh....I remember that film. I'd love to see it but I won't entertain Netflix.

  4. I have one down my way who is a 5G/Surveillance looper. He's convinced the Government is using 5G for mind control and attaches notices to this effect on nearby lampposts. He's also convinced the new(ish) LED street lighting is killing us, and thinks the photovoltaic cell under some of these lights are actually spy cameras.
  5. This popped up on a well-known media site recently. Possibly lifted off comments on YouTube regarding American singer/songwriter Bobby Fuller. This is real tinfoil-hat stuff.
  6. The seller also has a travel bass for sale. The string height looks ridic at the nut.
  7. Doesn't look like a Jazz but it sure is interesting..... Tritonus
  8. I'd have the instinctive notion to hack into it.
  9. To be fair, I've been a victim of 3am, whisky-induced purchases. But I never woke up regretting them and always paid for them.
  10. There's a subsect within the Chancers/Beggars sect and they are cold heart of day regretful buyers. Usually the denizens of ebay, I found them an extreme annoyance. Pleading emails to cancel the deal, to those guys who said 'Yes, I've changed my mind. You haven't shipped it yet, so refund me. If you post it, I will refuse it and open a case against you.' Thankfully, the one time that happened the sale was only circa £100 but that was a ruse I had never encountered before. Men bleating that their wife/GF would go nuclear as the purchase was made from their account (yeh, right!), or just pleading to cancel the sale because they 'really wanted it but can't afford it'!
  11. 'Best price' is more than I'm advertising it for.
  12. I'd be worried about damage. It seems to have a dent in it.
  13. Yeh, I tried to give away - give away! - one of these little beer fridges on Gumtree. Loads of interest and, yes, I got the 'can you deliver?' pish. One guy said he was 'on his way' and never showed up. I pulled the listing and relisted for £20, accepted £10 and it sold!
  14. By Alembic! Never knew this was a thing.
  15. That was a guitar amp. Probably similar to the 'Sustain' on the contemporary HH IC100 range
  16. Best price is £200 above asking. Always!
  17. I did this with an ebay low-baller many moons ago, His language was choice.
  18. I think it was a 900. No oomph whatsoever but I could run it on 2 star. Good job you never owned an Ampeg 8 x10, eh? You'd have collapsed into its gravity well. Which might have been a good thing.
  19. In the mid '80s I managed to fit a 2 x 4 x 10 Trace rig into a Datsun Sunny Estate. The engine didn't like it.
